seokjin rolled his eyes, he doesnt even want to be here.
there's a party of one of their chinese investor and they got invited, his brothers dragged him here.
the only reason as to why they convinced him to go here is that they told him it would only take an hour.
taehyung is supposed to be here too but he's currently not in the country.
he's probably on his flight to australia since he heard that taehyung's parents wants him over.
he's fun to be with but seokjin doesnt want to deal with taehyung right now, not when jungkook saw them almost kissing.
"hyung, can i go home first?" seokjin asked, rolling his eyes.
hoseok gave him a warning look as the younger keeps on poking their shoulders, not even caring that they're all talking about business matters.
"keep quiet, jin." jaewon said.
seokjin bit his lower lips rolling his eyes once again before leaning in once again to his seat.
he's bored, he cant even walk around because there's too many assholes who's striking to start a conversation with him which he's not clearly interested in.
he picked his phone up in his pocket, his eyes widening when he saw jungkook's name on the screen.
kookie:
are you asleep? sorry, i just got home from work.
seokjin couldnt help but to let out the biggest smile.
it was too late but atleast jungkook really did text him first just like what he promised.
seokjin:
nope. currently at party with my brothers.:)
seokjin:
did you eat already?
seokjin:
are you about to sleep?
the younger stopped typing as soon as he sent the last text.
biting his lower lips, he couldnt help but to get anxious. is he bothering jungkook too much?
he's probably too tired as he just got home from work.
kookie:
oh! that was a lot. send one text at a time. and yeah, i ate. one of my co-workers cooked for us.
seokjin immediately raised his brows. who is this co-worker who dares cooked for his man?
seokjin:
why did he cooked for you? who is this co-worker of yours?
kookie:
he didnt cooked for me. he cooked for US.
seokjin scoffed, that's the same thing.
jungkook is the most handsome in that botique, that co-worker probably cooked a lot so that it wouldnt be that obvious that he's trying to get on jungkook's side, what a desperate move.
"seokjin? seokjin!"
the younger with his brows knitted together looked up at his brothers who are already standing up.
"why? what's the matter?" he asked.
"we're going! i thought you want to go home already? let's go."
seokjin bit the insides of his cheeks before slowly nodding his head, he followed his brothers already.
"do you think mr. choi will agree to mr. ahn's proposal?"
"i dont know, maybe? let's be honest, hyung. mr. choi may have an advantage in tr construction industries but he's clueless about how it runs." jaewon said shrugging his shoulders.
seokjin crossed his arms and just shut his eyes closed, he cant even understand what they're talking about.
"oh, mom's waiting for us. they're home."
seokjin immediately opened his eyes at that looking at his brother.
"what? why are they home?" seokjin asked, his voice slightly rising.
he doesnt like it whenever they're around the house.
he loves them, it's just that their presence is more than enough to pressure him big time and it's not a very good feeling for seokjin.
as they arrived in their house, their mother is the one who welcomed them.
seokjin slightly bowed at them not even bothering to hug here just like what his two brothers did.
"i baked some cupcakes. you guys should try it."
and that's not even an invitation, that's a statement that should be followed so the three of them walked inside the dining with them.
when they're all settled in the dining table, the housemaid gave them each cupcake with a cup of hot chocolate.
sekyung, their mother, took a sip of her hot chocolate before looking at her son one by one as if examining them.
"jaewon," she raised her brows at her second son, "you're in a relationship with jennie?" she asked.
jaewon looked down crinkling his nose as he slightly shook his head, he doesnt know as to why his mother know about this.
"y.. yes, mom."
sekyung smirked shaking his head before staring at jaewon, raising her brows in a very cold manner.
"what's her job once again, hm?" sekyung asked.
hoseok hissed, "mom, it's already too la-"
"you stop talking, hoseok." sekyung widened her eyes.
jaewon nervously took in a deep breathe, "she's a member of a girl group, mom. an ambasadress for certain luxurious brands, also." she said.
"girlgroup? ambassadress?" sekyung clenched her jaw, "you rejected the daughter of senator yoo for a girl group member?"
their mother pointed at her temples, "you're not using your mind, jaewon-ah." she said in an overly calm voice.
seokjin couldnt help but to roll her eyes, this is exactly what he hates about their mother.
despite of all the things that his brothers did for the family, there's still a lot of things that they're restricted to do.
"cant you just let jaewon hyung do whatever he wants? he's done enough for the company." seokjin said, shaking his head after.
"why, seokjin? sharing the same sentiments as your brother?"
sekyung gave her youngers a threatening look before rolling her eyes.
"dont you think i dont know about how you're all over this highschool graduate employee of ours?" sekyung looked at him insultingly.
hoseok hissed. he took in a deep breathe as he clenched both of his fist.
"mom, i do think that we're all old enough to make our own decision." hoseok said, trying to be calm.
"dont talk to me like that, hoseok. you have no right as you are in a relationship with this singer too. what's her name again? sunmi?"
sekyung just cant take it. she wouldnt let her son be in a relationship with the likes of those people.
"what's up with all of you getting involved with singers much more to just our salesman?" sekyung spat out.
seokjin already stood up looking at his mother dead in the eye, clenching his fist.
"who do you think you are dictating our life?" seokjin tilts his head, "you were never with us so stop manipulating what we want." he said before walking away.
no one's gonna rule his life but himself.
