it is already a tradition in their house to eat breakfast altogether but none of them were following it if their parents are in the house. seokjin is obviously not very fond of his mother, she's not very appreciative. his brothers doesnt deserve the way she's treating them. he believes that they're free to do whatever they wanted to do, they contributed more than enough to the company. what more does she want? he checked how he looks for the last time before he finally went out of his room. "morning." he greeted when he saw jaewon already dressed up. "morning, love. mom wants us for breakfast." he said before putting his hands over his brother's shoulder. "where's hoseok hyungie?" "probably there already." seokjin hissed. he knows that hoseok is probably the one getting scolded for everything. and even though seokjin doesnt want to share the same table as his mother, he still came knowing that his brother would get scolded if they're not complete. seokjin just asked for a cup of coffee since he doesnt really want to eat. "nevermind the son of senator yoo," sekyung looked at her youngest, "meet minhyuk tonight." she said. the youngest shut his eyes closed, clenching his jaw, trying so hard to remind himself that she's still their mother. "mom, no." seokjin rolled his eyes. hoseok massaged his temples as he took a sip of his green tea. "mom, please. not seokjin. let him do whatever he wants." sekyung raised her brows at her eldest. she slightly shook her head as if hoseok did something wrong. "it's because you and jaewon keeps on spoling him, that's why he's like, a spoiled brat." she hissed, rolling her eyes at seokjin. seokjin couldnt help but to scrunch up his nose at those words. "why are you blaming them for it, though?" seokjin looked at her straight in the eye, "isnt it your job to raise me?" he asked in mock confusion. sekyung smirked before she put down her fork to give seokjin a warning look. "watch what you say, seokjin." she said through gritted teeth. jaewon already kicked his brother's feet under the table but seokjin doesnt care. "what is it this time, mom? hotel? new building? stocks? what?" he asked, insulted. that's the only reason as to why their parents wanted them to date this or that person— for connection or anything that they can provide that would be benificial for the company. seokjin rose up to his feet already and was about to walk out of their dining room. "maybe firing that gold digger jeon jungkook would be a good warning." "mom!" seokjin yelled, clenching his fist. sekyung then looked at her youngest son letting out the sweetest smile before shrugging his shoulders. "why, seokjin? you know im only doing this for you. what life can that man give?" sekyung let out a mocking laugh, "for goodness' sake, he's probably struggling to live his own life." she said shaking his head. seokjin squinted his eyes, he opened his mouth to say something but only closed it once again as he couldnt form any words. he's too mad, too irritated. he scoffed and just walked away from them, he doesnt want to deal with his mother anymore. who does she think she is? she's barely home and now she wants to meddle with their life decisions. seokjin went inside the car as fast as he can slamming it closed. he didnt even notice the tears falling through his eyes continuously. he harshly wiped it, he's too frustrated. he feels very much aggravated by his own mother. it is always like this, he's supposed to get used to it as this is always what happens everytime they're home. their father isnt any better, he's just a puppet of their mother. he'll believe whatever their mom says. "are you okay, seokjin?" "y.. yes, mr. han." seokjin took in a deep breathe before wiping his tears once again. no, he shouldnt cry over that woman. he will show her that he can do whatever she wants and not a single word from her would be followed. "mr. han, please stop here." he mumbled. mr. han nods his head and stopped at the park, seokjin already went down and waited for the car to go before he sat on the bench under the tree. he shut his eyes closed, inhaling the fresh air, the smell of leaves relaxing his mind and body. it's such a good thing that only a few people are here, some were just passing by which is actually a good thing since he wants to be somewhere quiet. he needs a breathe of fresh air, literally. sekyung, their mother, she hates failure. she wants nothing but always win and experience never-ending success, the reason as to why he pushed her children to take lessons after lessons in and outside of school. she doesnt want anyone looking down at her children as she believes that it would be the mother's failur if the children wasnt really at the right path. she hates anything similar to failure and rejection. that's why she always makes sure that every of their business will be a success or else she'll flipped out. seokjin can still remember that one time, they have an entertainment and after a year, they decided to release a boy group. it almost failed, the entertainment almost went into bankrupcy, the reason as to why his mother almost engaged him to the son of a famous network. that's when hoseok came in the scene, he decided to handle the entertainment. he did everything to promote the boygroup making sure that it would be very benificial to them. it's just a matter of months and they finally got their first win, their endorsements and a lot of offers. hoseok did all of that in exchange of cancellation of his younger brother's engagement. "you're here..." seokjin was pulled back into reality when he heard that very familiar voice. he looked up and forced a smile, "jungkook." he called. the younger's eyes widened in surprised, it's his lunch break and he didnt even prepare a food for him. what a fool! "sorry, i dont have anything with me." seokjin said in embarassment. jungkook let out a small smile before crouching down to meet the younger's eyes. "you look bothered, hm," he then met the younger's gaze, "what's the matter? you can tell me." he said, assuring seokjin. seokjin always looks as if he is confident with everything and wouldnt experience any downfall. his whole aura screams perfection and elegance. that's why seeing him like this, his head down and eyes shaking, jungkook couldnt help but get worried. "i just need your hug." seokjin said while looking at him straight in the eye. jungkook shook his head in disbelief but still pulled the younger into a very tight hug even kissing the top of his head. "hope you'll feel better, sunshine." he whispered.
