"you told him you like him?"
seokjin snapped his head back towards his friend.
"what's so wrong with that?" seokjin shrugged his shoulders.
he hates how seokjin and his bestfriend min yoongi has the same reaction, what's so wrong with liking someone?
"this is so not you, jin," min yoongi shook his head, "so not you." he said.
seokjin came inside his condo unit and the moment he sat across of him, he keeps going on about this certain man that goes by the name jeon jungkook.
not to mention, it's early in the morning.
what surprised him the most is the fact that seokjin told him that he confessed to that man saying he likes him.
"you know him for what?" yoongi asked, "two days? three? you dont know him well."
"it's not a surprise that he didnt believe you..."
seokjin raised his brows at his friend, still looking so confident as ever as if he didnt do anything slightly stupid.
yes, slightly. because he cant never be stupid, he's jung seokjin.
"but i really like him!" seokjin said, trying to defend himself.
that's true, he thinks that he really likes jungkook and he's never going to take that back.
if jungkook doesnt like him back, so what? it's his loss anyway.
but obviously, seokjin is not the one to back down so easily. this is the first time that a man caught his attention, that's why he's going to do everything that he can.
"what do you think should i do?" seokjin slightly tilt his head, really thinking about what he should do for jungkook.
yoongi bit his lower lips trying to stop himself from just smiling like an i***t.
this is the real seokjin, someone who is caring but still, he's not sure about the kind part.
"you said that jungkook came from a poor-"
"yah!" seokjin screamed, "stop saying that he's poor, that sounds offensive. simple, use that word instead." he said, feeling aggravated.
yoongi let out a mocking laugh shaking his head in disbelief.
poor people, that's how seokjin described all the people working for them. and now he's telling him to say another word for it because it sounds offensive? ironic.
"well! yeah, you said he's a simple person," yoongi secretly rolled his eyes, "and by how your story goes, it seems like he's not a fan of fancy stuffs."
"yeah and?"
"why dont you give him or do things for him? one that is made by you, he'll probably appreciate that and he might believe that you really like him because you're exerting efforts..."
seokjin squinted his eyes, a smile slowly forming in his lips, he nods his head clasping his hands together.
he immediately rose up to his feet and grabbed yoongi by the arms, the both of them inside the kitchen and seokjin putting out all of the possible ingredients inside the fridge.
it's a good thing that yoongi's assistant always shops for him as yoongi likes home-made food the most.
"can i see your lunch boxes?"
yoongi opened cupboards and put atleast five lunch boxes on top of his dining table.
seokjin looked at them one by one, he scrunched up his nose and shook his head.
"oh gosh, yoongi!" seokjin exclaimed, "your lunchboxes looks cheap! and is this even temperature control? what if the rice isnt hot anymore if jungkook ates it?" seokjin said, in so much concern.
seokjin immediately grabbed his phone ordering a three temperature control lunchbox for jungkook.
what's the point of making food for him when it's all too cold to eat?
as they wait for the lunchboxes to arrive, they started to cook somehing for jungkook already.
they spend almost six hours just making it since seokjin is very picky. good thing that the lunchboxes already arrived and they already put all the food inside.
"will jungkook like this?" seokjin said in almost a whisper, "he needs dessert too."
"it's not much..."
yoongi gasped hearing those words from his friend. it's not much? they cooked the food for almost six hours and it's not much?
it has rice, omelet, chicken curry and fried chicken just incase he doesnt like it with curry and beef stew if he doesnt like chicken.
"you should just buy a whole restaurant for jungkook, then." yoongi said, full of sarcasm.
yoongi then put all the lunchboxes inside a tote bag while seokjin put three tumblers inside too.
"three tumblers. why?" yoongi asked.
"one for cold water, one for warm water and another one for an apple juice."
yoongi rolled his eyes for the nth time, he shook his head in disbelief already leaving seokjin inside the kitchen.
seokjin let out a tight-lipped smile as he stared at the tote bag.
"i should get his number today." he said.
he ran his fingers through his hair, he washed his face and put on a little bit of make-up before he finally walked out of the unit without even saying a word to his friend.
he looked at the time and saw that it's just minutes away before jungkook's lunchbreak. it's a good thing that mr. han is already waiting for him.
as they arrived, seokjin immediately hold the bag going outside.
he couldnt help but to smile as he walked inside the botique not even caring at the people shopping inside.
seokjin looked around and stopped when he saw jungkook crouching down as he's unboxing a shoe handing it to the teenage boy.
"do you mind putting it on?" the boy asked, obviously flirting.
seokjin didnt even wait for the older to say something, he walked towards their direction and he immediately pulled jungkook up.
"excuse me?" seokjin took a step forward, "go put those shoes on by yourself." he said in a stern voice.
jungkook's eyes widened in surprised especially when the other customers looked at their direction.
he pulled seokjin next to him, his hand resting on the younger's back tapping it gently.
"seokjin, no..."
the teenage boy raised his brows. he smirked as he already stood up.
"what's your problem?" the boy smirked, "you walked in here with that attitude? is he your boyfriend? why? are you like him? working for other people like a dog?"
jungkook took in a deep breathe. he was about to say something to stop the argument but of course he cant,
"no, im not like him! but i do wish i am! what's wrong with working in the same field as them, stupid!" seokjin crossed his arms.
he bit the insides of his cheeks. he wouldnt let anyone talk to him like this.
he took a step forward. he stared at the boy from head to toe, shaking his head in a very insulting manner.
"do you want me to ban you in our stores?" the boy's eyes widened, "yes, fool. surprise, surprise. my family owns this." seokjin said with the sweetest smile on his face.
jungkook didnt wait for the two to finish with whatever argument they're having and he immediately pulled seokjin inside their locker room.
"what was that, seokjin?" jungkook asked.
"what?" seokjin crossed his arms, "i didnt do anything wrong." he said.
"and why are you here?"
seokjin stood up, straight. he licked his lower lips as he rolled his eyes. he handed jungkook the tote bag.
"i made that for you," seokjin looked at him straight in the eye, "you have to eat that. i worked hard for that." he said, demanding.
"really?" jungkook grinned, "why? why did you do it?" he asked.
seokjin stomped his feet, already irritated with jungkook.
"i told you i like you, stupid! get that on your head!"
