Blurb

Adeya has been told several times not to go into the woods, but she had never been an obedient child. She had always wondered why her parents were so against the woods when the birds were beautiful and the trees magical and just natural.

There have been rumors that a very territorial demon resides in the woods but Adeya just sees the people as crazy for believing those rumors, according to her, she feels at peace in the woods. What happens when she strays and angers the demon?...

Straying too far
Adeya woke up yet again feeling uneasy. It felt like there was a presence but she couldn't see the person, frustrated, she stood up and switched on the light and looked around but saw no one. The uneasy feeling continued for a few hours and she gave up on sleep deciding to go into the woods where she feels at peace. Today it felt different, the wind was whistling differently and the trees swaying creepily like they are dancing. This is the first time ever that Adeya was scared of the woods but she kept going. Normally, she'd have gone back home, I mean any same same person would, right?, but it was like she was looking for something, trying to see something she wasn't sure of. She kept going and finally stopped for the first time since she entered the woods, she was in front of a door of a mansion that looked like it hadn't been opened in a while and by a while I mean decades. She stepped back as an errie feeling enveloped mixed with extraordinary fear, so strong it brought goosebumps all over body, but she felt the need to open the door and she did but was blown away, literally blown away by a heavy wind. Adeya gasped as it seemed like the howling wind was singing and chanting at the same, she tried to stand up and run for her life but it was like a mountain was placed on her legs. Since she couldn't run or even stand up, the only choice she had was to watch all that was happening in front of her. When she thought this could not get any scarier or weirder, she heard the angriest and literally growl, this broke the dam as she started crying uncontrollably and begging whoever was willing to hear and help, she looked back at the door and saw different colors swirling together and forming into a person, if someone told her that this was real she would have believed them to be mad but now she feels like the mad one because although she's seeing it, she can't seem to still believe. "Unbelievable". She whispered as what she thought to be a weird mix of colors turned into a man who had his back turned to her in only a short white wrapper. This is not the time to get embarrassed, you've seen a lot of male body, you have a brother remember?. She was conversing in her head when the man turned around her breath stuck in her throat, he was like nothing she had seen before a true epitome of beauty but gasped as she saw the half of his face was that of a monster's. This action of her's made the demon laugh. "Took you long enough". He said, making her confused in her swooning and frightened state. "E-excuse me, what took me long enough?". She asked, surprised by her own ability to still talk after all this. "To release me!!!". He growled loudly, scaring her as his red eyes shone like a bulb. "I've been waiting for a millennium and you choose now to release me? Stop acting like you're scared you're vile adeyonakar". He said growling lowly and dangerously taking a step towards her, and she took one back, he took another one forward until her back hit a tree behind. Her pulse and heartbeat had already quickened as the thought this was the end for her because she could see and somehow feel the murder in his eyes. He had already brought his hand, more like claws out when she heard a voice. "Adeya!, Adeya! Where are you?". Her brother's voice called out, it took a while for her to recognize the voice but it got closer and as she looked ahead and looked back in front of her, the demon was gone and her brother came into view. She had never been so happy to see him ever. "Are you okay? It's been a while since you left the house and why did you come this far?". He asked as he held her crying self to him, all she did was answer with a nod but he didn't push it, wanting to talk to her when she was calm because he knew something was up. As they left the forest a voice like wind whispered. "I'll be back" .
