Cindy’s cybernetic body was too vulnerable to this type of disruption. She fell backwards in pain from her joints temporarily locking up. The electromagnetic pulse dampers built within her cybernetic implants kept her from completely shutting down. If she didn’t have them, Cindy would have died.
Alex with great concern rushed over to check on her vitals. Just as he touched her forehead, an electric spark shot out and struck his fingertips. It was not enough to cause any damage. Cindy’s eyes opened up and she rose, gasping for air.
