37 - Don't let the darkness swallow you

I turned around in hopes I would see something. Anything. A tiny bit of light, a small pathway, just something. But there wasn’t anything. It was still pitch black. Behind me, in front of me, to the left, or to the right. It didn’t matter which way I went, it was dark. I didn’t feel anything around me. I didn’t touch anything, either. There was nothing that would graze against my skin or clothes, I didn't feel anything even slightly touching me. It was as if I was the only one here. I was alone in this darkness that was swallowing up everything. The air wasn’t moving. It was quiet. And my mind was going crazy. I didn’t know how much time had passed. I couldn’t even tell which way I was going. Was I going forth? Or was I going back? Was there even any end to this? I stopped again. At this
