Chapter 31 Larry’s campaign continued. He got a small piece into a society gossip column about David buying his "historian girlfriend" a new biography of Disraeli. "I’m not studying Disraeli," I pointed out to Larry in the office the next day. "No matter. It adds an intellectual angle to the two of you. And the publisher’s a mate, so he appreciates the plug."
