Chapter Six Zach sat behind his new desk, in his new office, in a new town, in a new state, and stared at an old photograph. In fairness, it was taken only about three years ago, but he was a million miles from where he’d been at the time his friend Rich had taken the picture. And there was no going back now. With a sigh, he set the photo back on the corner of his desk. He’d debated whether or not to unpack it at all, but it had been in his office back in Fenton, Missouri, where his previous practice had been, and it just didn’t seem right not to get it out here as well. He looked at Angel’s smiling face and wished he had just one more chance to tell her once again how much she meant to him. Physically shaking his head to clear his thoughts, Zach contemplated how the morning had gone. M
