Chapter Fifteen
Easter morning, Sophie was up before her alarm went off, which was saying something, as it was set for 5:00. Her church always did an Easter Sunrise service, which she normally enjoyed quite a bit even though she usually wasn’t keen on getting up before the sun.
It had been a long weekend already. Friday, she’d gone shopping with a few friends and had lunch in Winchester. If they had any idea what she was going through, they didn’t let on. Perhaps that’s why Olivia, Delaney, and Melody were such good friends. It was nice to hear about their relationships, but none of them seemed to bring up their new boyfriends too often, which was also pleasant since having a new beau seemed so distant now for Sophie. She wasn’t sure it would ever happen.
