“Damn!” Jace cursed, but his body moved on instinct.
[Ultimate Angel Wings – ACTIVATED]
His massive golden wings unfurled with a snap, wrapping around his body like a fortress. The black fire crashed against them—absorbed completely.
[Defense Successful.]
Jace exhaled. “Thank goodness. Distracted and still alive… all thanks to Godly Sensory and this defense technique I almost traded for some fancy armor. Lucky me.”
[Ultimate Angel Wings] – An Angel’s ultimate defense, fully enveloping the user in durable wings that absorb physical and magical impacts.
Lowering his wings, Jace scanned the area then froze.
Vegax.
The God of Fire. His old rival.
Last time, Jace had to run. But now? His smirk said everything.
“Hang on, Leo. Let me handle this first.”
Vegax stammered, backing away. “How are you alive? It… it should’ve killed—”
“Any last words?” Jace interrupted, summoning his golden sword with a flick of his hand.
Vegax couldn’t finish his sentence. Jace blurred forward faster than lightning and in a single motion, his blade flashed.
Slice.
“Kill me? Haha. Nah,” Jace muttered, stepping past the falling body without looking back, ignoring the notification of earned battle points. “Petty fire.”
[Long-Distance Instant Teleportation ACTIVATED]
The world warped.
When his vision stabilized, Jace stood in chaos—the Temple of Arristom.
Three Gods had Leo surrounded. His friend was barely standing, blood dripping, poison corroding his health.
“Are you fighting them or waiting for me?!” Jace called.
Leo, dodging a strike, gasped, “Get your butt over here, man!”
“On it.”
Jace zipped across the battlefield, appearing beside Leo in a blink. A quick [Scan] revealed what he feared: Leo’s health bar was crashing fast.
“Drink this.” Jace tossed him a health potion.
Leo gulped it down desperately.
[Health fully restored.]
[All poison eradicated. Healing accelerated.]
“Much better,” Jace muttered, watching the green bar refill.
The trio of Gods roared, finally breaking through the [Heavenly Barrier] Leo had used to keep them at bay.
[Heavenly Barrier] – A divine shield that blocks devastating attacks for a limited time.
“West Knight Guardian!” Leo yelled, using Jace’s nickname. “Buy me time. I need to upgrade!”
Jace grinned. “Oh yeah, I’m back, baby. No problem, Dark Knight.”
He launched forward like a missile, colliding with Arristom in an explosion that shook the temple, sending the Gods sprawling.
Now.
Jace swiped his screen. It was time to level up.

[New Sub-Class unlocked: Archangel.]
[Attributes increased: +100 to all stats.]
Jace’s wings blazed with radiant gold, his power surging beyond mortal limits.
“Holy… I finally got my Archangel class,” Jace whispered, grinning.
Leo appeared beside him, divine energy radiating. “You ready?”
Jace flexed his sword arm. “You don’t need to ask.”
“Arristom’s mine,” Leo said.
“Fine. I’ll take the other two.”
The two remaining Gods snarled.
“How dare you infiltrate the God Realm, puny Angels! You’ll die screaming ”
“And you,” another spat, pointing at Jace. “I’ll personally ”
Jace and Leo burst out laughing.
If only they knew.
We killed the Ancient God. The strongest of them all.
Jace’s grip tightened on his sword.
“Run,” he warned softly.
---
He didn’t wait for their answer.
Jace raised his hand, divine energy gathering into a searing orb.
[Archangel Spell: Divine Light Ball]
A colossal sphere of light descended, vaporizing everything in its path. The two Gods barely survived scarred and trembling.
“Oh, now you’re scared?” Jace taunted.
They fled.
“Cowards.”
Jace’s interface blinked.
[Advanced Replication Technique Unlocked.]
[Clones possess same power as original. Duration: 30 minutes.]
A clone of Jace appeared, chasing down one God while Jace cornered the other.
The Fire God’s bravado cracked. “Even if you kill me, I’ll revive! Gods are immortal—”
“Oh? Haven’t you heard?” Jace smirked. “The Divine Pool is gone. No coming back for you.”
The God’s face paled then twisted in rage.
They clashed, sword to sword. Sparks. Steel shrieks. Each of Jace’s strikes grew heavier, faster, until the God faltered.
“Over,” Jace said coldly.
In a blur, he severed the God’s knees, then his hands finally decapitating him in one clean spin.
The clone returned, tossing the other God’s corpse aside like trash.
---
Across the temple, Leo had Arristom pinned to the wall, a spear skewering her chest.
“That’s for almost poisoning me to death,” Leo growled. “And… for rejecting my date.”
Jace blinked. “You… wanted to date her?”
Leo shrugged. “Didn’t know she was evil at the time. Shame. Gorgeous waste.”
Jace shook his head.
Leo smirked, channeled energy into Arristom, and whispered:
[Divine Spell: Explosion.]
Her body detonated, parts scattering like divine fireworks.
[Mission Accomplished.]
[All missions complete.]
They turned to the glowing double doors ahead.
“See you on the other side,” Jace said.
They walked through.
[Congratulations, Mr. Dhark.]
[X-Generation Game Completed.]
---
Back at the home screen, Jace grinned. “Leo, I’m going through the trailer again.”
“Cool, I’m picking my character,” Leo replied before his connection dropped.
“Must be bad network,” Jace muttered, opening the X-Generation Fall II trailer.
Twenty minutes later, he’d designed the perfect character and selected ‘Play Game.’
The screen scrambled.
Green light erupted from his headset, swallowing him whole.
Jace didn’t even have time to scream before his body vanished sucked into the game.
