Cousin Special

Madelyn's POV

I woke up in what I believe to be Xenon's bed and I felt really dizzy so to try and solve it I went looking for any type of food to try and clear the haze. I wandered into a bathroom, like three bedrooms, and a gaming room before I finally found the stairs. As soon as I got downstairs I saw Kai Xenon and some strange man. "Morning sleeping beauty. You feel alright?" "Um yea I feel fine Kai just a little dizzy." "Do you want something to eat? I can cook you breakfast." "Uh that'd be nice if you would Xenon." "Of course anything for the pretty lady." (She lowkey Ships them and I don't understand the ship.) "uh yea" I just went to sit at the bar while waiting for Xenon to cook. "Mind if I sit next to you?" "Uh no I guess." "Well thank you my names Charlie I know it sounds dorky if I could change it I would." "Its not dorky I think its nice and um I'm Madelyn." "What a lovely name for a lovely lady." "Back off Charlie." "Geez I was just being nice kai." "So you weren't trying to make us mad?" "What makes you think I'd do that." Xenon snickered at the comment "Ok I would do it." "Yea I know that's why I snickered." I felt a bit uncomfortable sitting next to this practical stranger so I tried to just keep to myself. But I learned Charlie was a loudmouth. "So Madelyn how old are you? "What pack are you from?" "Do you have siblings?" "Are you dating anyone?" "Where do you want to live in the future?" "Do you want kids in the future?" and I just said sheepish replies to all the questions until Kai ands Xenon realized I was uncomfortable "Charlie leave the poor girl alone." "Yea Kai is right your scaring her with your dumb questions." "Oh I'm sorry Maddie you should have just said something." "uh yea." I let out a fake laugh not wanting to talk Charlie anymore. After Xenon was done with cooking I ate and then left to go back up to the room I woke in. "Madelyn you aren't going to stay and hang with us?" "Uh no sorry Kai I feel tired so I'm just going to bed." "Oh ok just come get us if you need anything." "Will do" I hurried up the stairs and passed a interesting painting which I just had to gaze at. It was just a picture of an ocean while simple it just fascinated me tracing the wavy lines with my eyes and analyzing the blue colors for just a minute. Then I continued back to the bedroom which turned out to be Kai's. I found Kai's name on a sign by his closet. I wasn't really tired I lied just to get away for a bit so I started to peek around his room. But after snooping around I just decided to go to bed so I put on one of Kai's hoodies and took a nap. I woke up in the middle of the night to Kai cuddling me. I just brushed it off and went downstairs to go for a walk just to clear my mind. On my way outside I saw the stove clock which read 1:23 A.M but I still went ahead and headed outside for a stroll. Once I got outside I just started running not for any reason just to burn off energy. I made it to the forest trails when I stopped running. I looked on the map for which trails I could take I saw the trail names The cliff side trail, The Lynx Waterfall trail and the Flat trail. I just decided to be boring and head for the flat trail. I just ran my the hole way which didn't feel that long and made it back to the beginning I thought someone might be up and I didn't want to worry anyone so I headed back to Xenon and Kai's house. When I got back to the house Kai was up and watching Tv. "Where did you go Madelyn?" "Oh I went for a run and I didn't want to wake you up I'm sorry." "No its fine why don't you come lay with me?" "Um sure I guess." "I didn't realize how tired I was until I laid down with Kai." After a few minutes I started to doze off so I cuddled up to Kai. (She has a whole different writing style and imagination.) 

Kai's POV

Maddie cuddled up to me and dozed off. After a couple minutes of her being asleep Xenon came down. "Hey can I come sit down on the couch which you guys?" "Sure I'm close to sleeping anyway." "Ight thanks Kai." "Yup no problem bro." he cuddled up to Maddie laying in her lap and dozed off. I looked at them and blushed. Wait why am I blushing I shouldn't be blushing especially not at Xenon we are practically brothers right? I don't know why these feelings were happening. But I decided to sleep on it. I woke up to Charlie taking pictures and laughing. "Aw what a cute couple." I got up being carful not to wake Madelyn and Xenon. "Shut up Charlie and for your information we are not a couple." "Oh so I could ask Madelyn out?" "Don't you dare I will literally murder you." "But you guys aren't a couple right? Technically she's free game." "OK I like her maybe him too I don't know ok?" "That's all I wanted to hear my god don't be such a grump." "I'm not being a grump you idiot." "Sure it sounds like you woke up on the wrong side of the couch there Kai." "Do you ever shut up." "Well this is normal." Charlie and I jumped at the sound of Xenon's voice. "What am I scary?" "No you just startled us and tell Charlie to be a i***t for once." "You know I've tried but he never shuts up." "You all suck."
