The Battle Scars More People

Dakota's POV

After tending to the survivors and making sure that the foreign doctors got there I went looking for Madelyn and Kelpie. As soon as the doctors arrived Kelpie shot off looking for Madelyn while I wanted to go with her I wanted to make sure that these people were going to be ok before going to look for Madelyn. While running around looking for Madelyn I started to play out horrible scenes in my head and I couldn't stop them, they just kept coming and coming until I broke down and had a full on panic attack. It felt like I got the wind knocked out of me for a while and the only thing keeping me up and standing was a rock. I could hear Jinx telling me stuff but I couldn't hear or think straight so his words sounded slurred. The only word I could hear fully from him talking was Madelyn. She was all I could think about whether that be an image of a limp body like Everest's or a lost and lonely girl. 

Kelpie's POV

I knew what I needed to do no matter the outcome, I couldn't rest until she was found. I couldn't think straight, eat, stop until Madelyn was found. I just couldn't, it just wasn't an option. I searched all around the territory, The forest, The battle field, I searched every nook and cranny but no Madelyn. Then came nightfall but I couldn't stop yet no way. I didn't stop until I reached the very bottom of the mountain. I was sure she was no where on that mountain but I didn't know where to search next. I skipped eating and went straight to bed so I could just wake up and keep going. I would search the whole island if I had to.

Madelyn's POV

During the fight of it all I was pulled behind one of the huts. It was Xenon. "Madelyn we have to go c'mon I don't want you to get injured or anything our pack is ruthless when it comes to fighting." "Xenon I can't go I can't leave these innocent people to die." "Madelyn they won't die I can promise that but they will be launching another attack soon and I don't want you here when that happens just come with us for now and we'll send back for Kelpie and the other dude." "If you swear by it I'll come. But you also have to bring back Lena I can't leave her here broken." "You have my word now come on." just as he said that he yanked me into his arms and after that everything went black. That is until I woke up in his pack. Xenon and Kai had brought me back to their house. 

Kelpie's POV

As soon as I woke up I started walking deciding where to look for Madelyn next I thought if anything I should to the pack Oracle to see if she could guide me to where I should go. Astari has never let me down before so I was certain she wouldn't let me down now. I ran and ran back to the Stary Skies pack. Once I got there everyone could tell I was in a hurry and Asuka led me right to Astari. "Astari I really need your help and guidence please say you'll help!" "Child why are you in such a rush? You haven't even greeted Clementine." "I'm sorry about the not greeting the alpha thing I know it means respect but it's and emergency!" "Go on Kelpie." "After a huge fight broke out between the Mountan pack and another pack Madelyn my trial human was taken or ran away and I can't find her and I'm afraid she might be dead." "Did you say the mountain pack?" "Yes." "Tell me now in exchange for my help did you see Numani with the survivors?" "No but please help." Astari let out a scream and started crying all the tears she could manage. "I loved him! He promised he'd be back tomorrow! I loved him., I loved him, I loved him!" I could feel her pain. She has never cried over anybody even when her own pup died she let out not even a tear. She is one to hold her emotions in so I knew this hurt her so much. "Kelpie go looking towards the east that's all the guidance I can give right now." I lowered my head and left I heard her crying and screaming while I walked away from her hut.
