Between Us

It was the hottest afternoon I ever felt when I got out of my house. I ran into the barn to get the seeds and grains to feed my ducks but I suddenly dropped it as I heard a blaring sound next to my house. It was unusual, I never heard a song like that. I climb to a tree to see who's numb person would make that loud sound. It was strange seeing a guy dancing with a strange music. This guy looks new to me, I lived here for almost 2 years now but I always have an old neighbors and I may add "homophobic". I remember when I placed a pride flag in front of my house and an old woman shouted at me saying "GO BACK TO WHERE YOU FROM!!!" But since I am just new here what I did is to take that flag and went inside. But I bring it out again as soon as that woman go away. I also remember that woman went to same house where this strange guy were. I just hope this guy isn't her relative though. To be honest, he's cute but somehow he has a bad boy face. As I'm going down to pick up all the seeds and grain in the ground, I heard a deep voice... "Hey... Hey you!!!" I'm starting to get nervous cause he's sound badass "Oh, hi!" I said. "What are you doing there" he said. "Uh... Nothing. Just picking leaves" I said while reaching leaves. "Yeah? What would you do with that leaves?" He said. I am hearing now a sound of suspicious man "Uh... For my project." I uttered. He was about to say something when the song he's playing stopped. I got a chance going down and ran inside of my house. I shoveled down off the tree and back to my house. The guy was new to me I wonder why he choose to live here. He is a white man with a brunette hair, and I can assure that he's not from here. While drinking a few glass of cold water, someone knocks at my door. For a few minutes I am just standing on my place, and the knocks becomes loud. I am starting to sweat as this idea comes to my mind that it could be him. I started to walk very slow then suddenly someone shouted, "Open the door!" The voice was so strident. When the time I heard that voice I knew I'm dead. It was my mom and she don't like to wait. I ran to the door and open it. As I open the door I smile widely and greet my mom, before she starts to speak I grab the groceries that she is holding. I ran to my room when my mom starts to speak. I know it's rude but I just can't. When I was in my room, I just can't thinking about the cute neighbor. I grab my phone and call my Marco, I know he won't listen to this corny story of mine cause he don't believe in love and infatuation. But I'm his friend so he will. I dialed his number and call, it was a few minutes before he answer. "What do you want!" He yelled. "I have a story" I said with an excitement. "Yeah? About what? Boys?" "Woah! What are the odds?" "Really Alex?" He sarcastically said "I can't even remember how many times you talked about boys" he added. "Fine! Okay, it's about a bo---" "Okay stop, I don't have time for that" he whispered. ---
