I dressed Sander and walked him to the Caddy. He mumbled something about Lewis that I couldn’t interpret. I placed him in the passenger’s seat, and his head lolled back and forth.
He came to for a second and asked, “The money…Did you get the money?”
I did. I stashed it away in the junk bag with the other money, hiding all of the cash under the driver’s seat.
