The Kingdom of Lido’s Palace bore some resemblance to his own home; similar stone walls, high ceilings, and gardens filled with colorful tropical flowers he only read about in books before. Their group waited for three days to gain an audience with the King of this country and now they walked within the Palace, heading towards an audience chamber. The servants here seemed scared, and would hide anytime he glanced at them, making Aaron curious about how the royalty here treated them. Was this one kingdom in which the people hated their royal leaders? And if so, could he count on the King to help him find Rebecca? He felt out of place, weird even, being in a place where people received kindness or hatred depending on their status.
