Lucta, the daughter of an alpha, has been subjected to a lifetime of disdain and neglect by her own family and pack. Despite her royal lineage, she is treated as an outcast and forced to live in the shadows of her brother, the favored heir.

When her pack is suddenly set ablaze, Lucta's brother abandons them, leaving her to take charge and save her people. With no other options, she reaches out to a mysterious figure from her past, who had once been a source of comfort and protection.

This stranger, a powerful king, comes to their rescue, saving Lucta and her pack from the fire and the rogue wolves that threaten to destroy them. However, this salvation comes at a cost: Lucta and her pack must relocate and integrate into the king's pack, leaving behind the only home they have ever known.

As Lucta navigates this new and unfamiliar world, she is forced into a marriage with the king, becoming the queen of one of the largest and most powerful packs in the region. As she struggles to assert her authority and protect her people, Lucta must also confront the secrets of her past and the mysterious king who has become her husband.

Chapter1
Lucta’s Pov Today was one of the calmest days I'd experienced in a long time. For once, there were no adults screaming at me, no one shouting my name or calling me derogatory terms because I was the illegitimate daughter of the alpha. Every alpha and male in the community seemed preoccupied, constantly entering and exiting the community hall. The community hall was where important meetings were held, usually to discuss matters affecting the pack. I didn't really care about their decisions, though. In our traditional pack, the alphas made decisions that only benefited themselves. As an omega, I was treated as less than, and my illegitimate status only made things worse. The other omegas were kind to me, probably because they shared my sentiment. We were both looked down upon, after all. I sat quietly, reading my books while the kids played. Usually, I'd spend time with the omegas, sharing stories and gossip. But today, even they were busy. Their husbands had ordered them to stay home, a stark reminder of the disgusting way alphas treated omegas in our pack. Our pack was traditional, with a strict hierarchy. Alphas were at the top, and omegas were barely part of the food chain. My father, the alpha, ran the pack with an iron fist, enforcing outdated rules and treating omegas like trash. We were a small, primitive pack, far removed from the rest of the world. We kept to ourselves and refused to interact with humans or accept their charity. I'd read about their advanced technologies, which were beyond our understanding. As I sat there, lost in thought, I wondered what the future held for our pack. Would we ever change, or would we remain stuck in our primitive ways? I didn't need to ask myself what the future held, because I knew my path would never change. Humans were considered a threat to our kind. They did no good, only harm. My father, the leader of our pack, refused to believe humans could do anything good. If you tried to contact humans, you were killed. I'd heard of a pack far away that accepted humans, even allowed wolves like us to marry them. I wondered what that would be like, to marry a human. Sometimes I wished I could, because no alpha would want a broken omega like me. The sound of the bell indicated it was time for the kids to sleep. I quickly carried them to their houses, taking the ones without parents to the communal sleeping room. After ensuring they were all asleep, I went to my own room, took a bath, and fell asleep. Today was a peaceful day, and I wanted it to end like that. I didn't have time to think about troubles. As I slept, I smelled something. What was that? It smelled like something was burning. "Lucta, Lucta, wake up!" a voice shouted from outside my door. I quickly got up, wondering what was going on. Was it my brother? No, the voice didn't sound like his. Was it my father? No, it didn't sound like him either. I ran to the door and opened it. "What's going on?" I asked. "Fire!" Emilia screamed. "Lucta, the pack is on fire!" I stared at her, confused. "What do you mean?" She grabbed my arm, pulling me out of the room. "The pack is burning! We have to get out of here!" I started running with her. "Where's the alpha?" I asked. "I don't know," she replied. "We couldn't find him." “And Leon?” I asked "Nowhere to be found," she said. I thought about the kids. "The kids!" I screamed, and we ran to their room, waking them up and picking up the little ones. We held them in our arms as we ran outside, looking for a place to seek refuge. As we ran, I realized it wasn't just a fire. There were werewolves, or maybe normal wolves, killing people. I didn't know who or what they were. I heard the kids crying and ran towards the exit. "Come on, let's go!" I told them, pushing them to move faster. I screamed at the kids to move, and they ran with me. As we ran, I saw the other omegas waiting. "This way!" They yelled, and I followed with the other kids. We ran until we got to a house where we could hide. I realized some of the other onegas were already there. "What's going on?" I asked after resting a little bit "We don't know," Cynthia replied, crying. "I was home, and then I smelled something burning. I thought I'd left something on the fire, but it wasn't that. It was the park... the park is on fire!" The omegas cried out in despair. As omegas, we were considered weak, and in this situation, it was true. I wanted to cry too, but now wasn't the time. Now was the time to fight. I looked around, searching for at least one alpha, but there were none. "Where are all the alphas?" I asked. "They were all in the community hall," Jeremy, a male omega, replied. "They were there for a meeting, but they haven't come back." The community hall. That's where they were. But why hadn't they come out? "Where exactly did the fire start from?" I asked, but no one knew. It didn't matter now. We had to survive. We had kids with us, and we couldn't leave them behind. I looked around; we had almost every single omega with us. "We have to move," I said. "This place isn't safe. There's a house at the back of the park, near the water hall. If we can get there, we'll be able to survive." "But what about the alphas?" one of the omegas asked. "What if we get killed?" "I know, but we have to move," I replied. "We can't stay here." "What do we do when we get there?" Jeremy asked. "Do we just stay there until the fire ends?" I hesitated. I didn't have a plan. None of us had phones, and the only person who did was my father. But he was.... "We'll figure it out when we get there," I said finally. "Let's just go." “Figure out what?” Jeremy shouted “Figure exactly what out? Can't you see that we are f****d?” I sat quietly and so did the other onegas we all knew we were f****d. Jeremy was saying what was exactly on our mind. “No we are not” I said trying to hold on to any hope. “We just need to contact the other packs” “How exactly?” They asked “Who was gonna do it?” Katherine asked “None of us can use a phone” Omegas were not allowed to use phones or watch TV's in this pack. "I'll run to get help," I said. "I'll call the other parks." Emilia and Jeremy tur ned to me, panic in their eyes. "What do you mean?" Emilia screamed. "You can't just leave us!”
