“I broke up with Daniel.” She watched Daniel’s retreating back. Each step he took away from her was agony but knew it had to be done. For Drew.
“For Drew?”
“You don't look like you approve.” She just got done arguing with Daniel. She didn’t want to argue with Tony too.
“It's not my decision to make. I'm not going to tell you what to do. You're obviously in a tough position, but Darcie you have to realize Drew isn't the man we both knew six years ago. He went through unspeakable tortures. Things that will never leave him.”
Daniel had said pretty much the same thing, but it didn’t change her mind. “I'm prepared to stand by him.”
“I believe you, but you have to ask yourself will it be worth it in the end.”
