Chapter 21
After getting Drew in the car, Darcie took Drew to Dr. Grace. Tony opted to return home to Alexia but would be on standby if they needed help. It was just as well. They didn’t all need to file into Dr. Grace’s office. Darcie debated waiting in the reception area but wanted to be there to support Drew for his first session. Dr. Grace didn’t look thrilled by the idea but didn’t kick her out. Darcie sat on the couch so Drew could take the chair since it was his session.
“Hi, Drew, I’m Dr. Grace.” She held her left hand out.
Darcie was about to tell her no because of his injured right hand but Drew shook it uncertain. “Nice to meet you.” He eyed her like he was waiting for her to comment about his hand, but she just took her seat.
