Chapter 25
Darcie’s nerves got the better of her when she made it to Daniel’s house. Beth’s words of encouragement kept going through her mind but now that she was here, she was shaking like a leaf. What if he rejected her? What if he didn’t love her anymore? All the what-ifs started running through her head.
She took several deep calming breaths to get her nerves under control. “I can do this,” she told herself before getting out of the car. Losing Daniel wasn’t an option. If she had to start stalking him around town she would. She would prove her love to him one way or another.
Daniel’s garage was open, and she heard music blaring from inside. She was willing to be bet he was working on his bike. It seemed like he was forever working on it.
