Chapter 37 BUFFALO POLICE DETECTIVE Isabella Savino was overworked, as most detectives generally are. There are too many cases, and not enough cops to work them. Many times before they discover all the clues, another case comes in. The previous one goes cold, and the cycle repeats itself. The unsolved murder of Father Terence Conors was one of those unsolved cases that gnawed at her. Every six months to a year she would receive a tip, and tracked it down. They always led to dead ends. She started to think it would never be solved. When she arrived at the office on Monday morning, she found a manila envelope on her desk. Hell, what now?
