REX SAT AT DOTS CAFE drinking a latte and waited for a call from Gerry at Zippee headquarters. He saw Laura Singelton walk in. She had been one of the people arrested at the Critical Mass incident that led to the formation of BARB and had attended several meetings.
Laura saw Rex when she walked in. Oh man, Rex is one of the last people I want to see right now. Maybe I can turn around before he sees me. But she hesitated long enough for Rex to look up, and see her. He waved, so she couldn’t leave.
