IT WAS MORNING. REX got ready for work then rode down to the Zippee Messengers office. He said hello to Gerry, and grabbed his paperwork before leaving. He usually didn’t get his first delivery before ten o'clock, so he headed down to Dots Cafe. Here he'd wile away the morning while he waited for Gerry to call.
He rarely drank anything but a tall house coffee, although he did like a latte sometimes. He wavered between the very berry bear claw and a white chocolate cranberry scone.
