Chapter 17 IT WAS A BUSY MORNING. Rex already had ten jobs, but since there weren't any pending jobs, he headed to Dots Cafe to hang out. Dots was his favorite coffee shop down on Delaware and Chippewa. The sun was shining, and it was warm outside, so he wanted to sit on the patio. When he got there, there were none available. He peeked in the window, but there weren't any inside seats, either. He decided to check out Dewey's a couple of blocks away on Chippewa Street. Dewey's Diner was an old-fashioned Italian diner where you could get an espresso and sandwich. It was across from Hutch Tech, one of Buffalo's better high schools.
