REX SAT ON THE COUCH with his neighbor Ed Neumann drinking beer.
“So, Rex,” Neumann started, “what happened to the PBR?”
“I thought I’d broaden my taste buds.”
“It took you long enough.”
“Yeah.”
“Seriously, the country is in a craft beer wave, and you were still drinking pisswater.”
“It’s cheaper.”
“Of course it is,” Neumann said. “But it’s worth the difference.”
“I think you’re right,” Rex agreed.
“I mean, you go from crummy beer to growlers?”
“Well, Sheila was right about Community Beer Works. They have great beer.”
“That they do. This ‘Frank’ is damn good.”
