Chapter 40 TRAFFIC WAS STOPPED at a traffic signal blocks from the steel plant. Cars hummed at the red light as Rex zoomed by on his bike. “Sonofabitch! It’s that damn bike messenger!” one of the drivers yelled. It was Victor Ragu in his red Cadillac. Rex was heading north back towards Buffalo. There were three cars in front of Ragu, and he wanted to get out. He made a fast right turn and followed Rex. He laid on his horn, and the cars in front of him moved.
