CHAPTER FOURTEEN
Cat rolled out of bed the next morning, groaning with stiffness. It had been too long since she'd been running and her muscles were complaining about their lack of exercise and the overuse of her less physical attributes over the previous few days. She did a few quick stretches and threw in several downward dogs and hip opening poses to try to loosen up. By the time she entered the kitchen searching for coffee, she felt much more human. So it surprised her when she saw that she wasn't the first one awake and that the last night watcher wasn't Mai, as she'd expected.
