The rest of the time, we ride in complete silence. Neither Espen nor Lou say anything. Lou hasn't spoken much in the entire time since we escaped the castle. It worries me a little to see her so still. What's on her mind? What is she thinking? Is she mad at me?
Lou is a person I find difficult to judge. She has so many facets and can adjust herself perfectly. How should I know if she's just pretending or if it's the truth?
Finally, we reach the clearing where our headquarters is. It is an old ruin of a manor house. It is run down and almost entirely covered in ivy.
