The attack

Liams POV  I'm lying a little uncomfortably on the hard floor, now that I have the memory of the soft bed in my head, the floor feels unbearably hard. Since I can't lie on my side, I still have to lie on my back. However, everything is better than the last couple of nights. I look up at the ceiling with open eyes and stare at the gray stones. Will the little healer come again today? I'm neither gagged nor blindfolded, which is why I finally have the opportunity to see her today and have a proper conversation.  Footsteps come closer and I turn my head so I can see who is walking towards my cell. To my chagrin, it's not the little healer, but one of the guards. More precisely, the one who doesn't like me. He unlocks the door to my cell and walks in. I sit up and look at him from the floor. What is he doing here? Humiliate me even further?  His mean grin and his disapproving look herald disaster.  "Well, the little rebel got special treatment, right?" He says, his voice dripping with disgust.  I press my lips tightly together so I don't make a stupid remark.  “Did you manipulate the queen into granting you privileges?” He asks, but I just stay silent.  "Why are you here and what did you do with the queen all afternoon?"  Again, only silence follows his question. His anger increases, he grimaces and clenches his hands into fists.  “Answer me, you dirty pig!” He yells and comes closer. I move all the way back to the wall to put some space between him and me. But he's just getting closer.  “Talk!” He yells again and attacks me. He grabs me by my throat and pulls me up. My feet lose contact to the ground and my head slams violently against the wall behind me. He presses me against the wall without my being able to defend myself. My tied hands are positioned in such a way that I can´t even protect my own body with them. My neck is open to him and he squeezes hard. I can barely breathe, but still try to kick him with my legs. It makes him angrier, but he doesn't stop pulling the trigger on my windpipe. I gasp, gasping for air, but there is nothing I can do.  "Now you are not that strong anymore, are you?" He says in a hateful voice and suddenly lets go of me so that I fall to the ground. Gray dots dance in my field of vision and only slowly disappear again. I would like to massage my neck to relieve the sore spots, but I still can't free my hands.  "You are such a filthy piece of scum," the man yells and attacks me again. He reaches out and kicks me in the side, in the stomach and in the face. All I can do is moan and curl up on my side as best I can. My face and back are still unprotected and he takes advantage of it mercilessly. The pain shoots through my whole body and I feel like a punching bag lying on the floor. The pain is so intense that I would have screamed if it wasn't exactly what he wanted. He wants to break me and prove his superiority to me, but I am strong and even if I have nothing else I will not give him the satisfaction to scream. He kicks me in the face again, so I almost think my nose is digging into my brain. I feel warm liquid gushing out of my nose and disfiguring my face. My lip is already split open and I can taste blood in my mouth. Again he kicks me in the face and I can´t seem to focus my vision anymore. I can't hold out much longer. Everything turns black around me and I sink into the long-awaited unconsciousness.  When I come to, the guard is gone and I am alone in my cell. I'm still on my side but can barely open my eyes. They are so swollen that I can only see a small, blurred c***k. My arms and back ache like hell and my nose is still producing new blood. I have to breathe through my mouth to get any air at all. This is really hell on earth. The pain in my nose keeps bringing tears to my eyes and my helplessness makes me angry. I want to sit up, but can't move at all. So I have nothing else to do but stay right here.  I hear faint footsteps and want to raise my head to make sure the guard hasn't returned, but I can't. The cell door opens and someone makes a startled sound. Apparently I am unrecognizable. I sincerely hope that it is the little healer so that someone can finally help me. I try to make a sound to great her, but all I say is incomprehensible.  “Oh God Liam who was that and what did they do to you?” Asks the lovely voice, but it is twisted with pain and pity. With her help I turn on my back and look at her. Her face is beautiful and strangely familiar, but I could be mistaken because I can hardly see anything and what I see is completely blurred. I cough and spit blood. I feel close to fainting again, but I want to stay strong to give her the answers she needs. She says something else, but I cannot understand the content, I can only hear the sound of her voice. She loosens the cuffs on my arms and gently wipes my nose with the fabric to remove the blood. My eyelids are so infinitely heavy that I can hardly keep them open. I reach up aimlessly in the air with my hand until I reach her cheek. I put my hand on her cheek and try to focus my gaze on her face.  "Relax Liam, I'll take care of you," she says softly and smiles, I think.  "Thanks Lou," I mumble a little unintelligible and close my eyes.
