Ch. 5

"Do I know you?" Analee turned and asked the older couple. They both looked stunned and turned to each other with a sadness. They turned back to her, "my name is Eli, I am the Doctor here and this is my wife Ella." Eli finally says. "I feel like I know you, but I've never met you before." Analee replies back. Jace clears his throat getting Analees attention. She turns to him, "They are your parents. You were taken when you were 4 and have been missing since." Analees eyes grow wide and tear up. She then shakes her head, "no that can't be right. My step father told me my mother died giving birth and my father abandoned her when she was pregnant." She looks back to Jace, "Love, he lied to you. Eli and Ella are your parents. You got lost in the woods and disappeared. They've been searching for you." Jace said back to her, he gently touchs her hand. The sparks flew through her body. Analee pulled her hand back, "Why does that keep happening?" She asked him. "Why does what keep happening?" he says confused. "Whenever you touch me, my body get this electric spark." Jace smiles at her. "Because we are mates." Analee looks even more confused now. "I don't know you and I don't know what mate means." "A mate is your soulmate, you're other half. As werewolves, we are destined to find our mates, someone who will complete us and make us stronger. Someone who will love unconditionally and do anything to protect. Someone who is so connected to you, that you become one." Jace answered. "And who are you?" Analee asked him. "I am Jace, Alpha of this pack." Suddenly a realization hits Analee, "You were in my dream. Talking to me. I followed your voice to the light, Treya helped me too." "Is Treya your wolf?" Ella asks her. Analee turns to her and nods. "I met her when I was 13. She told me she was my wolf and one day, she would take me away from him and somewhere safe. She stayed with me until I was 18, then she just disappeared. When I woke in the darkness, I finally heard her again. She told me she left to protect us." "Protect you from what?" Jace asked in a low growl, he was getting really mad. "I'm not sure, but shortly after she left me, I ran away. He got....." her voice trails off, tears threatening to fall. "Its ok, sweetheart, you are safe here" Ella gently touched her shoulder. Ana felt very safe with the 3 people in the room. A few moments had passed Eli spoke up, "Ana have you shifted yet?" Ana turns to look at him, "Shifted?" They all look at each other. Jace speaks again, "As werewolves, we can shift into our wolf. Are you saying you have never done that?" Ana shakes her head. Jace turns to Eli, "The full moon is in a few hours, she is going to shift tonight!" Eli nods, "We need to get her into the woods quickly." Ella walks over to a chair and grabs clothes for Ana, she hands them to her and Ana goes into the bathroom to change. They all then head out of the hospital and start walking into the woods. Ana is starting to feel uneasy, as she begins to slow down she feels an arm wrap around her shoulder and sparks shoot through her body. She instantly calms and looks up at Jace, his blue eyes staring back at her. He smiles and whispers, "It will be ok. I will be right beside you." Ana smiles back. They come to a clearing near a lake. Its so breathtaking however Analee doesn't get a chance to enjoy it because all of a sudden, she hears a c***k. She starts looking around thinking its him, but then another c***k. The cracking sounds continue and she realizes its her, she collapses on the ground and screams in pain. Jace is by her side trying his best to soothe her. "Just listen to my voice love. I know it hurts, but don't fight it. Let Treya come through. Imagine yourself as a wolf. With paws, long canines, and beautiful soft fur. Breathe and think of becoming a wolf love." Analee does her best to focus on Jace and it seems to work, within a few minutes, the cracking has stop and she feels calm. She looks around but everything looks silver. She looks down at Eli, Ella and Jace and their faces show shock and awe. She walks over to the lake and peers in. There staring back is a beautiful wolf with silver eyes. She seems to be smiling. Treya turns back to Jace, he smiles and says, "Shes the Red Wolf."
