Ch. 9

"Your brother? You mean the one who tried to get Ella to reject you and choose him as her second mate? " Jay questions him. Eli nods. Ana, Jace, Wren and Milo all looked confused. Jace turned to Eli and Ella, "Do you mind explaining what's going on to us please? Eli sighs and begins, "I am from Ashwood. It was just my dad, my mother, my brother and I. We never got along unfortunately and we were always fighting. When Ella and I met, she moved there with me. However, my brother Donavon, or Donny, took a liking to her and would follow her everywhere. He became obsessed with her and tried to get her to reject me and choose him as her mate. When his mate came along, he rejected her right away in hopes that Ella would do the same. When Ella became pregnant with the twins, Donny went crazy. He came at her one day with a knife, trying to kill the babies. I jumped in front of her and we fought. I almost killed him, had Ella not stopped me. I knew then that we needed to leave to keep Ella and the babies safe. I called Jay and told him everything. He said we were always welcome here and that there was an opening in the hospital so I talked to Ella and we left that night. We never told anyone, except our Alpha, that we were leaving but did not tell him where we went, in fear he would find us." realization dawns on their faces. Ana turns confused about something however, she looks at Eli and says, "You said twins? Do you mean I have a twin?" Ella turns to Eli, she then turns back to Analee, "Ayden is your twin brother." Anas eyes go wide. "You two were always so close growing up. You were inseparable." Ella smiles thinking back. She turns back to Ana, "When you were taken, we almost lost him. He stopped talking, wouldn't eat, he shut himself off from everyone. It took a few years for him to open up again." a tear in her eye. Ana got up from Jaces lap and sat beside Ella, she wraps her arms around her shoulders and pulled her in for a tight hug. "I'm so sorry mama." Ana said, they both started crying. A few moments of silence as mother and daughter reunited. They broke away and Ana looked over at Jace. He smiles and nods, he then looks around at everyone. "Now that we know who we're looking for, its time to prepare the next step. Most likely Donovan will come for Analee. Its just a matter of when." he turns to Analee, "I think we should have the Luna ceremony soon, officially make you a member of the pack. Once we are connected, it will be easier." Ana looks hesitant. "I'm don't know. I'm a complete stranger to everyone, they won't accept me." Ella takes Anas hands, she turns to her. "They will accept you. Most everyone here knows you from before. They will be thrilled to know you are not only alive but you are home. And Jaces mate. You two were close as little ones." Ana looks shocked. "Really?" Hanna chuckles, "Really! We had Jace a few days before Ella had you and Ayden. We were always together your mom and I. We went everywhere with you all. At his second birthday, you kissed him right on the lips." she and Ella chuckle. "Oh yea! I remember that." Jay comments. "There was always something special between you two." he says. "We actually thought you were mates, even back then." Hanna chimes in. Anas cheek turn pink as she looks over at Jace, he simply smiles and gives her a wink. "Ok. Let's do it." Ana smiles brightly. Everyone cheers in the office. Jace stands up and walks over to Ana. He puts his hand out for her to take. She takes it and he pulls her up. He wraps his arms around her waist, smiles down at her and says, "So my Luna, are you ready to train?"
