Finally Found

Ch. 8

Ana smiles at Ella and Eli, "I would love to meet my brother and sister." Ella smiles brightly and reaches for Anas hand, "Wonderful. You and Jace can come over for dinner whenever you are ready dear." Ana looks at Jace and he smiles and nods. He then turns to the other couple, "Ana, these are my parents, Jay and Hanna." Ana turns and extends her hand to them both. "Its so wonderful to meet you both." she says with a smile. "You as well, dear." Hanna replies back with a smile of her own. For the next 20 minutes they all sit and chat while eating breakfast. After breakfast Jace and Ana say goodbye to their parents. He then takes her hand and leads her to the Training hall. Ana looks around the grounds as they walk. Deep in thought she almost doesn't see the blonde girl skipping up to them. Instinctively she lets go of Jaces hand. "Jace! There you are! I've been looking for you all morning." she comes and jumps on Jace, wraps her arms around his neck and kisses him. He however, pushes her off and steps back to where Ana is standing. He wraps his arm around her waist and kisses her head. He then turns back to the blonde, "Letty, this is Analee, she is my mate." Letty glares at Ana for a moment then plasters on a fake smile, "It's so much to meet you. Where are you from?" Ana looks up at Jace, then back to Letty, "Um I'm from a small town outside of the city." She looks back up to Jace, who winks at her. "Oh. that's cool. How'd you to meet?" Jace answers her first, "She's actually the Grays daughter." Lettys eyes go wide." OMG No way!!! We heard you died. So glad you didn't." Letty continues, "So where have you been? What happened to you? How did you get back here? Why are you here?" It all became to much for Ana and she just took off running into the woods. "Ana wait!" Jace goes running after her while Letty smirks behind. Ana keeps running deeper and deeper, tears streaming down her face. I don't belong here. I need to leave. How am I supposed to live here with a horrible past like mine? No ones going to want to be my friend. I'm broken. I'm better off alone. She has run so deep she doesn't even know where to go. None of this is familiar. Panic begins to set in her as she fears she's lost. Looking frantically around for something familiar she begins to hear a voice. Its him! He found her. "Ana! you can't hide from me forever! I will find you." his voice taunting her. "No! I won't go back!! Leave me alone." she screams and curls up in a ball. She sobbing when she feels arms wrap around her, she starts kicking and punching but the arms tighten, "No! Please leave me alone!! I won't do it anymore!!" "Shhhhh love its me. I'm here. You are safe!" Jace's soothing voice whispers in her ear. Realizing it's Jace, Ana settles. She looks up at him with tear stained eyes. "Please don't let him find me?" she begs him. She is clutching his shirt so tight her knuckles are white. Jace grabs her face and she stares into his blue eyes, "I won't let him take you! Never!! You are my mate, my love, my life. I have waited for you my whole life and I am not ever letting go." He leans in and kisses her with such passion, she has never felt this before. She wraps her arms around his neck and deepens the kiss. This is her first real kiss and she never wants to let go. Jace pulls her in as tight to his body. They fit together so perfectly. Finally they pull apart and rest their heads together. Ana opens her eyes and looks up at Jace's. "I'm broken. I've been used before. Are you sure you want me?" He looks down at her and smiles, "with every breath I breathe." he kisses her one more time before he takes her hand and begins guiding her back home. "What is his name?" Jace finally asks the one question that he has been wondering since they found her. "His name is Donovan. He lives in a house in land, which looks similar to this one. Its a few days walk from here." Ana tells him. Jace stops, he turns to her, "Are you saying you were in a pack?" She looks down for a moment, "I guess we were, we didn't live in a big house like yours though. We lived in a smaller house. I was never allowed to go outside but I had a window looking out into the woods. I could see other houses and if I looked further, I could see a big mansion in the back." They continue to walk out of the woods, "Did you ever hear a name?" Jace asked. "I think I heard Ash something once." Jace's eyes go wide. "Ashwood?" Ana looks up at him, "Yes! Thats it!" Jace picks up the pace a bit and they get to the pack house quickly. They head to an office down the hall from the back door they entered from. Jace goes behind the desk and sits, then pulls Ana to his lap. She wraps her arms around his neck and lays her head on his shoulder. A few minutes later, Eli, Ella, Jay and Hanna, followed by a young man and the man Ana remembered seeing at the gate that night enter the room. Eli, Ella and the guard sit on the couch by the window. The young man sits on an armchair across from the desk and Jay and Hanna sit on another couch across from Eli and Ella. Jace addresses everyone, "Thank you all for coming quickly. First, Ana this is my best friend and Beta, Wren (pointing to the young man). And this is Milo, he my Gamma and the guard in duty that night." pointing to the guard sitting by her parents. Ana stands up and walks over to Wren, its nice to meet you." She then walks over to Milo and hugs him, she hears a low growl and turns to see Jace annoyed. She chuckles and waves her hand at him dismissively. Turning back to Milo she says, "Thank you for saving my life." "You are very welcome!" he smiles back. "Wasnt your hair more brown with a red streak before?" he questions. Jace clears his throat as Milo looks at him, he then shakes his head no as if saying "not now." Milo nods and Ana then goes back over and sits on Jaces lap again, he nestles in her neck and breaths in her scent "MINE" he whispers into her hair. Jay clears his throat gaining Jace attention. "Right. Yes. I called you all in here today because Ana told me where she was." he looks up at her and she nods. He turns back to everyone, "she was at Ashwood with a man named, Donovan." Gasps are heard from Ella while curses are heard Eli. "Pumpkin are you sure?" Eli turns and asks Ana. "Yes I am." Ana says back. "Do you know him?" Ana asks again. Eli looks at Ella, than back to Ana and Jace. "He is my brother."
