Ch. 11

It's been 3 months since Analee came home to Black Moon. She spends her days training, learning Luna duties from Hanna or spending time with family and friends. The nightmares have become somewhat of bad memories, but the longer she spends with Jace, the less they are even in her thoughts. Her memories of her childhood with him and their friends are her dreams at night. Jace and Ana have become quite close and though they haven't yet mated and marked, their bond is very strong. Ana is grateful for the patience Jace has shown towards her. She is still afraid that he may reject her for having him wait so long, however he has shown her nothing but patience and love. One afternoon, she is out having lunch with her mom and Hanna. Ella is telling a story of when they were kids when all of a sudden and cold breeze blows up Analees back. She freezes causing Ella and Hanna to look at her puzzled. Terror in her eyes and she feels the hot breath on her neck. "Hello princess" the stench of her "uncle" fills her nostrils as she looks at Ella and Hanna. Hanna's eyes are clouded over as she calls for the warriors who are outside. Ella looks at Donavon with a look of pure hatred. "Get away from my daughter." she snaps at him. Her mothers voice is calm and surprisingly calming her as well. "I knew it was only a matter of time before you came out of hiding my sweet girl" he whispers in her ear, staring at her mom. Ellas anger grows as she watches this man so close to her daughter. Just then the door bursts open and Jace, Jay, Wren, Ayden and the 5 warriors assigned to protect the women barge through and barrel over to them. Jay is the first to reach him and he grabs Donavon by the neck and throws him against the wall. "Keep you hands off my daughter" he snaps. Jace stands in front of Ana, Wren to his right, Ayden on his left. Ella and Hanna move up stand beside her. The 5 warriors flank Donavon, he smiles and starts to laugh as he eyes everyone around him. He stops at Jace and says, "She belongs to me and I will have her back." Jace growls and says "Over my dead body." Donavon laughs again, "I can see you are still unmarked, have you even mated?" Jace goes to attack him, but feels like sparks of his mate. He looks down at his hand as she intertwines their fingers. She has a smile on her face and winks at him. He smiles back and stares back at Donavon. Ana finally speaks to him, "You are nothing more than a piece of s**t scumbag. As long as I have breath in me, I will never come back to you." she states with venom in her words. She lets go on Jace's hand and walks up to him. Jay puts his arm out to stop her and the warriors close in. She puts her hand up, they back down. Ana continues to walk up to the man who tortured and abused her her whole life, never once does she falter. When she is a step away from him, she stops. "If you ever come near me or my pack, I will kill you myself. That is a promise!" a moment goes by and Donavon speaks in a low tone, "You will come back to me princess. Or I will kill your entire pack" a sinister smile appears on his face. She takes a step back until she reaches Jay's side. Jace comes behind her and wraps her in his arms. Donovan looks around at everyone once more before heading to the door. He turns and says "I'll see you soon princess" he winks at her and leaves. Ana turns to Jay, "Did you hear what he said to me?" He looks down at her and shakes his head. "It doesn't matter what he says my dear. He will never hurt you again!" Jay says as he places a hand on her shoulder. Ana smiles up at him, "Thank you Jay" Jace turns her around, "Lets go home" Hours go by and Ana is sitting by the balcony window reading a book. Jace has beefed up security around the pack and has started a rotation of every available warrior to help keep an eye on Analee, Luna Hanna and Ella. He walks into the room, and smiles at Ana. She closes her book and turns to him. "I am really sorry to have caused all of this stress." she turns to the window and quietly says "Maybe I should leave." In an instant Jace grabs her and lifts it up to face him. She wraps her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist. They look into each others eyes. "You are worth everything and more my love." Jace says. Their lips meet in a passionate kiss. Ana runs her hands through Jace's hair and he walks them back on their bed. He sits down with Anas legs on either side of him. His hands start to roam over her body and the sparks ignite. Analee's hands move down from his hair to his chest. They both pull away and lean their foreheads together. "Tell me to stop" Jace whispers. "No, don't stop. Please, I need you" Ana stares into his eyes. Jace grabs her head and pulls her back to him. He flips them over and gently lays on top of her. He takes her hands and places them over her head. He plants soft kisses down her cheek to her neck and gently sucks her marking spot. She gasps in a breath as her body shivers with anticipation. He looks into her eyes, "I will never hurt you. I love you so much Analee and I want to make you mine. Forever. Be mine?" Without hesitation Ana says "I'm yours. Will you be mine?" Jace smiles, "Forever." The next moment, both of their canines sink into their marking spots. A wave of pure ecstacy envelopes them both as well as more power and connection. They continue throughout the night making love. Together as one, they are ready to face whatever evil comes at them.
