Ch. 12

The next morning, Ana wakes up to the smell of lime mixed with raspberries and it brings a smile to her face. She looks up to see her handsome mate sound asleep. Feeling the sparks ignite as she touches his bare chest, she climbs on top of him and plants gentle kisses from his eyes down his belly. She makes her way down him til she reaches his pants. She hears him moan as she takes him into her mouth. All the way down and slowly back up. Back down again she twirls her tongue around him. More moans come from Jace and she continues her gentle pleasure. Then in one swift motion, shes flipped on her back as he plunges into her. She gasps in pleasure as she meets his rhythm. Jace leans down and kisses her as he continues to slam into her. "Faster" she moans. Jace does as she asks and soon they both reach their c****x as he pours into her. He falls to her side and scoops her in his arms. "I love you so much Lee." he whispers into her ear. She looks deep into his eyes, "I love you too Ace." These were the nicknames they had given each other as children. After a few moments together in each others arms, they get up and take a very steamy shower. 20 minutes later, they are dressed in their workout clothes heading to the hall for breakfast. They sit with Alpha Jay and Luna Hanna. "OOOOO!" Hanna squeals suddenly. "Good goddess women you gave me a heart attack!! What is wrong with you?" Jay turns to her. Hanna points to Jace and Anas necks. "Look." she says. Jay turns to see their mating marks and smiles widely. "I am so happy for you both!" He says. Ana turns to Jace with pride and kisses his cheek. "Would now be a good time to talk about the ceremony?" Jay asks to Jace. Jace turns to Ana, "We haven't really...." "Lets do it." Ana interrupts him. Jace turns back to her, "Love are you sure?" Ana just simply smiles and nods. She feels ready to become Luna and rule by Jace's side. This is her home and she is ready to take care of it. "Great. Then let's do it next weekend." Jay replies back. "We can start planning and go shopping Ana." Hanna says to her. "Meet me in my, soon to be your office, after training today and we can go over the details." They all finish breakfast with idle chatter and soon Jace and Ana are heading to the training field. Just as they are about to reach the door, an alarm sounds. Jace turns to Ana, "Theres a breach. Head to the bunker." "The hell I will!!!" she screams back. "We fight together!" Reluctantly, Jace nods, "By my side the whole time." Ana nods and they both head to the alarm, shifting into Link and Treya. As they near the South side, hundreds of Rogues flood the ground. They head towards the center of the fight, killing Rogues in their path. Treya leaps over one and tackles another that has one of her warriors pinned down. She spots Link to her left and he is surrounded by Rogues. She charges towards him and slams into two of them. We are really fast and strong Treya Ana says to her. Yes little one we are. The Red Wolf is very rare and there hasn't been one for over 1000 years. Treya continues to run beside Link running towards the tree line. Oh no! It can't be. Ana says. Ana is that.... Yes Treya. Its Duncan, the Wizard from Ashwood. Treya, we need to get to him before he kills our pack. You know how strong he is. Treya changes direction and starts running full force at him. Ana, you promised you'd stay by my side Jace mindlinks her. There's no time Jace. There's a wizard in the treeline and he is about to unleash a fireball and if I don't stop him, he'll kill every warrior . Ana cuts the link and Treya runs faster. Treya, we won't make it. You have to do something. As Treya continues to sprint to Duncan. she unleashes a loud growl that shakes the ground he is standing on, knocking him over. The vibration of her growl continues to shake under him. He looks up startled to see a Red Wolf sprinting to him. She finally reaches him and towers over him. The fighting has stopped and Ana takes control. "Ana?" Duncan says shocked. He looks her up and down with a sickening smirk. "Damn baby, you look amazing." A growl comes up behind Ana as a shirt is places on her. Jace stands in front of her. "Watch yourself wizard." Duncan continues to stare at Ana. "So is this where you've been hiding?" he questions her. "This is my home. This is where I belong."Ana says as she steps beside Jace and intertwines their fingers. "Mmmm I think I liked you better when you were quiet and small." All of a sudden, Ana eyes begin to glow. Duncans eyes go wide as he grabs at his neck gasping for air. Ana steps towards him, "You are nothing but a waste of breath. You come here trying to hurt my people. Most likely you were sent by Donavon. You follow him blindly you probably didn't even know why he wanted you to attack us. Well now you know why. This is my home and I will do everything in my power to protect it." The winds swirl around her as Sam continues to try and take a breath. "You have no ide who you are messing with Duncan. All those years you thought I was a nobody and you treated me so. Well now you know, who I truly am. So take your last breath Duncan." And with that, Duncan collapses dead on the ground. The wind dies down and Jace catches Ana before she falls. He scoops her up in his arms and begins carrying her to the infirmary. "Tend to the wounded and place the dead by the side of the packhouse. We will have a ceremony for them all." she hears Jace say. "You truly are amazing Lee" is last thing she hears before everything goes black.
