We were at the entrance, letting everyone say their goodbyes. Lily was sobbing as if she would never see her parents ever again and I couldn’t help but roll my eyes. She was leaving either way, seeing as her mate is an Alpha. Her mate wrapped her in his arms, trying to soothe her from this emotional turmoil she decided to put herself through.
“We will come back and see them before we head back to my pack. We can just stay here if that will make you happy.” Alpha Wade cooed at Lily, trying to pacify her.
“No, no. We need to go with Xeraphina and Xavier. I am not ready to part with them. My wolf says we need to be with them.” Lily spoke with certainty as she wiped her tears away.
