Her destiny

Ciara was sitting in her room, trying to figure out what exactly she wants to write next. It was pretty late but she didn’t care much. She just wanted to get done with that. Being a successful writer has its ups and down, which Ciara knows the best. Sometimes the words just wouldn’t came up and it was so frustrating. The sound of her phone was like a wake up call while she was trying to write something decent. “Hey Cia, there is a party tomorrow downtown. Will you come? Please don’t say no, it’s not like your laptop will run away.” It was one of her best friends, Alex, who was always trying to get her on a right way. It’s not like Alex was a party animal, she just wanted Ciara to enjoy life a bit as well. Ciara just rolled her eyes and took a deep breath before answering her friend. She knew very well how awkward she is when it comes to social event other than presenting the new book. “Well, I guess I could go i f I won’t stay too long. You know I have plenty things to do. Send me the time and place.” As she typed it to Alex, she had an urge to delete the message as she never liked that kind of things. She wouldn’t mind to hang out with the people she cared about. Bunch of new people and new faces was actually frightening the life out of her. “Ok hun. Try to relax this time. You need to get out and spend time with the real people as well. Love ya.” Alex texted back and Ciara was hoping she will change her mind but she never would. Sometimes she would make her very mad as she wouldn’t respect her wish of being alone. It’s not like Ciara just had a bad relationship, the problem was that she never was in any. It was so weird for her to think like that about other people. She couldn’t understand why Alex wanted to find her somebody even tho she didn’t feel like it. Ciara was used to be alone and it really was the way she liked. It wasn’t really possible it was going to change. At least she thought so…
