Bella POV
“NO!” I scream, but it's no matter. The girls tear into each side of Eli’s neck; twisting and ripping right through it. His head lolls foreword, staying attached to his body only by his spine. Bile rises to my throat, but I can't get myself to turn away. Tears leak down my face as my eyes track my mate’s body dropping to the ground. The moment his body slams against the grass, his spine snaps, his head rolling away from the rest of his body coming to a stop a few feet from where I stand shakily against Jedediah. I can see his eyes from here. They swirl a mix of blues; azure and royal curl together in his lifeless orbs.
