Bella POV
I am not exactly sure how long I have been laying here awake. I know I slept, the sun now hanging low in the sky is a good indicator, but I did not truly rest. My dreams were full of fighting and blood. It felt like an omen. I couldn’t sleep again after waking.
So, I've been laying here on top of Eli. Literally, right on top. I'm practically still cradled in his arms. My ass is the only part of me touching the bed, the sheets cool against my bare skin. That was the second thing I noticed after waking up. The first being that I was truly with my mate. Alive and safe. But the second was that I am only wearing one of his shirts. Not that I am surprised that he changed me into his clothes with everything that went down today.
I snuggle into his chest, breathing in his scent. Hi
