"Damon’s been missing for weeks,” Sampson says. Bella gasps quietly while the rest of us just stare. The four of us just simply gape at the two of them for several long moments. I glance over to my wife, a barrage of emotions warring on her face, her eyes flickering constantly between blue, gold, and red, before finally settling on gold. London is here. I don’t find any issue with this until I watch her fists ball tightly at her side and her mouth in a tight line, jaw clenched.
“Missing?!” she yells, “He’s f*****g missing?! How the hell are we supposed to figure this s**t out now?!” Sampson scrunches his nose, confused at her outburst. Luna Clara takes a step behind her mate, wary of Bella’s aura.
