It’s been two weeks. Two weeks since the battle. Two weeks since I buried my second and my best friend. Two weeks since I nearly lost my kids. It’s been two weeks, but we’re finally having our post war meeting.
We aren’t in a meeting room, or any official room. We’re all piled on comfortable chairs in the library, drinks in hand. A sense of déjà vu coming over me as I glance around the room, but it's just the five of us here this time. Eli and I talked to Jase and Sampson earlier this week, but they only had a handful of attackers each. I guess Jed was just hoping that the neighboring packs would send us their resources, therefore leaving their own packs vulnerable to looting. They shut down the attacks swiftly.
