Life is full of lies. When you trust people around you, they give you an exact reason not to trust them. When I started building my foundation of trust, I realised how naive I was to trust them in the first place.
I looked at Hades. His eyes were staring at me with a soft look lacing in his eyes. His face softened as he gripped my shoulders and pulled me towards him. He pressed my head against his chest and I took a deep breath, breathing in his cologne.
At times, I feel like I am lonely in this whole world. With no-one around me. At times I feel like my compassion for people pushes me into a ditch. I find it hard to get out of it.
