"You look like s**t!" David said, looking at me with an unreadable expression. I looked at my friend. Or maybe we are not friends anymore. After all, my sexuality was the news of the week. And so was the abuse. My friends were standing in the corner, staring at me. David was the only one who actually took the initiative in talking with me. I felt lonely in college.
