That Sexy Brazilian Lady
Manaus, Brazil I patted the bus door to signal the driver that all was ready, and the final load headed for the airport. All the conference attendees had gone home. Behind me, I heard applause and cheering. For the first time in the last ten days, everyone could finally relax. The work was done for this trip. The crew would leave either on a late flight tonight or on an early flight in the morning. All, that is, except the few of us who’d have to stay and pack up all the computers and paperwork that had made the conference happen. Tonight, in the cooler evening air, we’d sit at the table next to the hotel pool, sharing a cold beer and a final relaxing meal. To get ready for this, we’d all spent a month learning the basics of the language. Although most of us spoke some Spanish, Portuguese was different. We could now say hello, goodbye, please, thank you, to the left, on the right, have a nice day, and which way to the rest room? Some of us spoke a little more than that, but we always hired a local interpreter to say the hard stuff. Rafaela walked up to me and put her arms around me. Rafaela was a beautiful woman who’d worked with us. She’d been hired through the hotel to translate directly to vendors and schedule buses and cabs. She was the one who prevented the misunderstandings that our poor attempts at the local language created. “I didn’t want this to end,” she whispered, putting her head on my shoulder. “Nor did I,” I replied. She squeezed me tightly and gave me a hard, quick kiss on the lips. Then she turned away. God! I wish she wouldn’t do that! All through the conference, she’d kissed me and hugged me. Crazy Brazilian straight lady! Don’t do that to me! That wasn’t good for me. I was really attracted to her. I had been since I first met her three months ago. She had a sensuously lithe body and mocha, chiseled features. Her mane of thick black hair cascaded over her shoulders and down her back. She had an aura around her that was hard to miss. On her application she’d checked off married and once she’d mentioned something about Carlos, but didn’t explain who Carlos was. On top of that, this was my work environment. I was here on business. I was almost glad this would be over in two days. * * * * When I’d been here, three months ago, to examine spaces, she’d been the one to show me around the park we’d be using for the opening party. It was a new park in the center of the city that boasted an amphitheater large enough to hold the thousand or so attendees who’d be there to talk about the rainforest and make recommendations about saving the environment. Even then, at the first meeting, she’d been warm and friendly, touching my shoulder and taking my arm to point out certain details around us. We’d taken a boat ride up the sss to see sites that might be used in our off-site excursions: places where the tropics were being destroyed to make way for big industrial complexes, and tracts of land where the rainforest was being protected from destruction. Throughout the three days I’d been there, she was beside me explaining everything. She had hugged me whenever I thought something was exciting or that could be incorporated into the conference. She was so damned touchy-feely, that I had almost fired her. But that would have been unprofessional of me. She had the knowledge and the ability that we needed. My own personal discomforts had to be overlooked. That first weekend, at the airport, she placed a soft kiss on my lips as we said goodbye. It could have meant many things. I was used to the European kisses on both cheeks. But this wasn’t Europe. It had been enough, though, to flame my fantasies on the eight hour flight home. When I’d arrived this time, she’d greeted me like a long-lost friend with hugs and kisses. I’d felt a definite attraction, but counted it as the local custom: Brazilian women are very intimate in their interpersonal relations. I’d just have to get over it. I was behaving like a puppy-love-struck hormone-overwhelmed adolescent. We had to get work done. The attendees would be here in three days. We had all checked into the hotel and were getting everything set up. I had asked her if she needed a room here. “That would be wonderful!” she’d exclaimed. “It will save me from driving to get here early and allow me to stay late.” So I booked her a room, too, as far away from mine as I could. We had chosen the rooms we’d use for office space and I set up my desk area. I’d share the room with my friend Allen, who handled the finances and Gillian who scheduled rooms for lectures and meals. Allen and I were the only two in the crew that were gay. We spent most of our free time together on these trips, investigating the few gay bars or clubs that we ran across. We’d both been to gay bars on six continents. We also kept our eyes open for potential dates for each other. We knew what the other liked. Gillian had gone up to speak with the kitchen supervisor. “I have to call Robbie right after dinner. I can’t believe how much I miss him,” Allen mentioned as we were getting settled. “You haven’t been gone twenty-four hours yet,” I reminded him. I sighed. “It’s hard to believe you have a significant other now.” “Maybe a husband, soon,” he said with a sly smile. “You should try it some time. It’s a lot better than worrying if you’re gonna be spending the weekend alone.” Allen always tried to convince me that married life was the best thing since sliced bread. Personally, I liked tearing chucks off the loaf. “Maybe I’ll try it sometime. No promises.” I laughed. “Just let me get through this conference without going crazy.” Allen looked at me. “Is something happening next door?” he asked softly, gesturing to the next room. Rafaela would be working there to schedule transportation and deliveries. I’d already told him about my first impressions and if anyone knew what I was thinking, it was Allen. I shook my head. “She’s married.” “But this is Brazil!” he exclaimed. “Tell me about it.” I picked up a stack of papers to bring into the room where Jim would be entering everything into our computers. The following two days were hectic. No one had a chance to sit down. Each night after dinner, everyone immediately went back to their rooms to get some sleep. I went back to my room, too, but sleep was hard to get. I tossed and turned thinking about Rafaela and her flirtatious looks and comments. If I didn’t start getting some sleep, I’d be no good for the next ten days. Come on, get it together. You know she’s off-limits and she’s straight. Stop even wishing. But every night, it always ended the same way; I’d stoke myself while I fantasized until I fell asleep from exhaustion. * * * * All the attendees had arrived and gotten into their rooms. It was hectic as usual but there were no major snafus this time. Everyone seemed pleased and the hotel hadn’t been bombarded with phone calls requesting changes or additions of any kind. I’d have to compliment Rafaela for that. She was outside, coordinating all the buses that would bring everyone to the opening ceremony and party in the park. The whole opening event was astonishing. The local company Rafaela had suggested had made this whole place look, sound, and feel like Mardi Gras. The catering staff was exquisite and everyone was starting the week on a high note. If this kept up, we’d have a successful conference. Individual boxed trays of food were passed to each person as soon as the opening speeches had ended. By the time the meal was ending, the band was playing and the bar was open. Rafaela walked up to where I was standing, watching everyone have a good time. She took my drink from my hand and set it on the table. “Dance with me!” she cried and grabbed my arm to pull me onto the dance floor. She twirled around to the loud, raucous local music. I got caught up in the excitement and joined her. I couldn’t take my eyes off her movements as we danced. I knew Brazilian dancing always looked s****l but the suggestive moves she made had me so turned on that I had prayed the glow on my face would be blamed on the heat of the weather. I knew I was staring but it didn’t matter. I was having fun as I blatantly watched her intensely s****l movements. Let it go, I told myself. This is a party. Everyone is supposed to be happy. No one will notice anything about how you’re acting. Tonight may be the only night this week where you can let your hair down. Just have fun! I threw myself into the dancing and let myself go. Later that night, when we returned to our rooms, I berated myself for not taking the one chance I’d have in the next few days. I could have held her on the dance floor. No one would have noticed, or even cared. Why had I passed on that opportunity? Fool! * * * * All through the conference, whenever she walked into our office, she’d come over behind my desk while she talked to everyone. I can’t remember how many times she’d placed her hands on my shoulders while she was talking and absentmindedly rubbed or massaged them. How many times had she leaned over my shoulder to point to something on a report on my desk and I could feel her breast pressing into my cheek? It may have been absentminded on her part, but it was nowhere near that on mine. Every time she’d touched me, it felt like I’d been seared by a cattle prod. I’d felt her touch through my entire body. Yes, entire. The rest of the week was filled with activity and getting people to the right places at the right times. This was our best conference yet. Everyone seemed satisfied. Now all the attendees and most of the staff had gone home. The only ones left were the five of us and Rafaela, who would pack up the equipment and left-over gifts to be shipped home. We packed and cleaned up the rooms we had used as offices, and finally, in late afternoon, got to sit down. The massive shipping crates we used were only half full, so each of us added a suitcase or two. “Is that everything?” Jim, one of my co-workers, asked. “I think so.” Allen checked the clipboard he always carried. “Computers, paperwork, extra handouts, leftover gifts. What else?” “That’s all I have,” I said. “Me, too,” Gillian added. Andrea agreed. “Okay, then,” Jim declared. “Lock them up and I’ll tell the shipping company they can come and get them anytime.” “I will miss you all,” Rafaela moaned as she stood in the center of the room. “I’ve had a wonderful time this past week.” “We’ll miss you, too, Rafaela. You have been a dynamite addition to this team. We really appreciate your help,” Gillian said. “You are the best local we’ve ever hired.” She reached out to hug Rafaela and gave her a kiss on the cheek. Everyone agreed and Rafaela went from one to another of us for hugs and cheek-kisses. When she got to me, though, she turned her head at the last minute and kissed me softly on the lips. She looked into my eyes for a second, but then looked away. “One last dinner by the pool?” Andrea called out. “I leave first thing in the morning.” “That sounds good,” Gillian answered. “I think I’m on that flight, too.” Allen agreed. Jim’s and my flight wasn’t until tomorrow afternoon. We’d be the last to leave. “Why don’t we meet at the pool at seven?” Jim asked. We all agreed that sounded good. As we got ready to leave, Rafaela stopped me. “I have something for you.” She held out a thin bracelet that had been handcrafted by a local artisan. It had several beads, intricately carved from local woods, polished to a soft sheen, and woven together with thinly woven hemp. As she’d carefully knotted it around my wrist, she said, “I wanted to give you something to help you remember your trip.” The way she’d emphasized “something” sounded very regretful, as if it wasn’t the bracelet that she’d wanted to give me. But then, it could have been my overactive, imaginative libido listening. “This is gorgeous!” I exclaimed. “You didn’t have to give me anything.” “I wanted to make sure you had something so you would not forget.” “I’m sure I’ll never forget it,” I said softly. I drew her into my arms and hugged her tightly. I so wanted to kiss her but I held myself back. No, I’d never forget. She smiled, hugged me back, and walked away. A few hours later, we met at the hotel pool restaurant. We pulled two tables close so we could sit together and ordered our last meal. We shared stupid stories and laughed at jokes that weren’t really that funny. We were just letting off steam. Then Rafaela walked up. She slid into the one empty chair. I sighed as her warm smile spread across the table. Yes, it was definitely my one regret of the conference: I’d never get to know her; to hold her and kiss her. I would have to be content with my fantasies. Now, as we sat across the table, her deep, dark eyes looked at me, a seductive smile crossing her lips. Then she casually joined in the banter with the co-workers who remained. Some comment was made on how good her English was. “Yes,” she smiled shyly, “I only have trouble with English right before I fall asleep if I’m tired…or very early in the morning.” Her eyes lifted only to stare directly into mine. Did I see an eyebrow start to rise? I lifted my glass to my mouth, partly to hide my gasp. What was she doing? Was I imagining it or was she trying to seduce me right here in front of my business associates? “Your bracelet shines so pretty in this light,” she said to me. I gulped my drink. Was I blushing? I could feel my face getting hot. “Yes,” I stammered. “I love it. It was…is…a gorgeous present.” She glowed. “Yes, from someone who…” she stammered, “from a…Oh, my English is not good tonight.” What had she started to say? We looked at each other. I was a little embarrassed to have an audience. She looked away. Then someone else commented on the conference and the conversation veered away from my jewelry. Someone else ordered another mug of beer. “Let me show you how we drink it here. Hold on a minute.” She rose and walked into the bar, reappearing a few seconds later with another glass of beer and a cold bottle of Coca-Cola. “Have any of you ever tasted it this way?” she asked as she poured coke into the beer. Everyone gasped. Eyes darted from one person to another as my co-workers grasped the concept of Coca-Cola and beer. “It is wonderful!” she exclaimed. “Try it!” Her exuberance was so contagious that everyone gladly sipped the concoction as it went around the table. I have to admit, as did many at the table, that it was quite delicious. Who would have thought that coke complimented beer the way it did rum? Some immediately ordered beer and coke. It became the beverage of choice as the evening wore on. * * * * I left the party to come back to my room, leaving some still drinking and laughing. My flight out was tomorrow right after noon and I started packing the few things I hadn’t placed in the big shipment. I was relieved that I’d be leaving tomorrow, because this wasn’t what I expected on these business trips. I’d never got involved with anyone remotely related to the business and I hadn’t needed to start now, here. No, it was best that nothing had happened with Rafaela. It was better to keep my business-travel relationships to a fantasy level. There was a knock on the door. It wasn’t uncommon. Conference attendees always seemed to track me down with questions, no matter where I hid; and that included in my room. There was seldom a night when I hadn’t been disturbed. I guess it had become a habit for me. Without thinking I went to the door and opened it. “You left the party too early!” she said as she stood there, a glass of something dark amber in her hand. “I…I have a flight tomorrow and I’m finishing packing,” I stammered. “Maybe I can help you,” she said, staring into my eyes, that cute smile on her face. “May I come in?” “Of course,” I said, backing into the room to give her space to enter. “It’s usually not this messy in here,” I apologized as I pushed the door closed. I turned around. She was barely a foot away from me. “I didn’t come here to view your mess. There was something else I wanted to give you to remember Brazil.” I’m not sure what my face said but my stomach was knotting itself into a tight ball. “You don’t have to give me anything else,” I started to object, “The bracelet…” “But I have been wanting to give you this all week,” she interrupted. Then, she leaned forward and planted her lips firmly on mine. One arm slowly circled my waist and her tongue found its way between my teeth. I’m not sure how long the kiss lasted but when she finally backed away, my head was spinning and every ounce of liquid in my body had somehow found its way to my crotch. “Wow,” I said, licking my lips, my eyes barely open. I was frozen in place with my back to the door. “May I stay awhile?” she asked, softly. Without waiting for an answer, she walked into the room, placed her drink on the bed table, piled my suitcase carefully onto the floor, and then turned and held her hand out to me. Without thinking, I followed her and placed my hand in hers. Was this part of my fantasies? Was I dreaming this? She pulled me closer, then she lifted her shirt over her head. Her beautiful dark hair cascaded down around her shoulders as the shirt came off her body. “Don’t back away,” she whispered to me, as she unbuttoned my shirt. I hadn’t backed away, I don’t think. I was staring blatantly at her incredible t**s. They were beautiful, large, firm orbs with n*****s the color of dark chocolate and aureoles the size of Kennedy half dollars. That was one of the things I hadn’t imagined in my fantasies. “You do want this, don’t you?” she asked, her face precious, with a shy look of doubt. She reached to unzip my fly. I looked into her eyes, at a loss for words. “Of course you do,” she stated confidently. She pulled me closer. Our lips met again as we sank onto the bed. “I thought you were married,” I said when our lips parted. “So? Do you want him here, too?” “No,” I answered, shaking my head. She smiled, looking deeply into my eyes. “I have been trying to get you into bed since I met you last spring, but you never reacted to me.” “I didn’t know you were serious,” I said softly. “Well, now that you do, we’ll have to make up for lost time. Good s*x is good s*x, no matter where you find it. You do like good s*x, don’t you? It would be a shame to part without exploring the possibility.” I must have grinned because she laughed as she covered my mouth with hers. God, I had never expected this! Sure, I’d fantasized about it. But I never dreamed it would actually happen. I’d thought her smiles and sexy looks were innocent flirting. Now I had her in my bed. Now what? For someone who wasn’t a lesbian, she certainly moved like one. I didn’t have a chance. My clothes…and hers…were on the floor before my brain even realized she was serious about this. Her fingers roamed my body while her tongue urged its way into my mouth again. My hands caressed her back and buttocks. It was the smoothest, firmest skin I’d ever felt. It was like gliding over silk stretched tightly across a canvas frame. It was something I couldn’t remember ever touching before, but then, at that moment, I’m not sure I could remember my own name. What I did remember was that I wanted to make love to her. I had wanted that all week, all month…ever since I met her. I rolled her over onto her back. She didn’t object, and started to press her body up into me as her legs wound around me. I could feel her heat burning onto my abdomen…or was it my own? The smile in her eyes invited me to continue and I started my journey down her body. I slowly created a trail of kisses and nibbles across her beautiful chest. Her skin tasted astonishing. The hint of salty brine, toasted under the Brazilian sun, made the most delicious taste across her body. And her n*****s? Glorious nuggets that seemed to spring to life as I rubbed them across my teeth with my tongue. I could have stayed there for days, but there was so much else to explore. I found my way between her legs. Oh, heaven! There within the thick hedge of black hair lurked a pool of ambrosia. Seated within the pool was a firm nub of jewel that made everything else pale by comparison. I reveled on its taste. Her mewls and sighs erupted into loud moans and cries of pleasure. She grabbed my shoulders and sunk her fingers deep into my muscles, as her body writhed beneath me. I reacted by sucking and rubbing even harder. I felt her hands shaking uncontrollably. Her head thrashed back and forth as her body tensed. Suddenly, my face was awash as her hips pressed up into me. I lay there for a moment, my head nestled between her legs until I heard her whimper “Ah, deus!” I looked up into her face. Her eyes were half closed, a small smile across her face. How sweet it was. “I’m glad we didn’t do this before,” I whispered. “We never would have gotten any work done.” I crawled up beside her and wrapped my arms around her. “Yes, always save the best until last,” she answered. Then she rolled over onto me and showed me her version of good s*x. And yes, it was. Very good. As her hands and lips roamed my body, I could only grab my head to keep it from exploding. She was insistent and continued down until I was writhing in anticipation. My God! This non-lesbian was better than any super-dyke I’d ever met. She kept me on-edge for what seemed like the millennium and when I blew, my world erupted like a volcano. * * * * When I awoke the next morning, she was gone. Had I dreamed last night? Was this merely a hallucination of my fantasy? Looking at the clock, I realized I had enough time to finish packing and grab some breakfast so I wouldn’t have to taste the food on the plane. As I walked into the bathroom, I realized that my shoulders were tender. An inspection into the mirror showed small fingerprints. I smiled to myself. No, it hadn’t been a hallucination. There was the proof of the ecstasy she’d expressed…of the bliss she’d brought to me. I grabbed a quick shower, being careful of my very sensitive n*****s. Oh, how she had gorged on them last night! I threw everything that was left in the room into my suitcase and called the front desk to send someone to bring my bag down to the lobby. I also called her room but there was no answer. Taking a last look around the room to make sure I hadn’t forgotten anything, I picked up my carry-on and took the elevator down to the lobby. I walked out to the pool to look for her, but she wasn’t there. Neither was she in the dining room. I chose some fruit, scrambled eggs, and pastries from the buffet and seated myself so I could see if she walked in while I was eating. Eating! My brain kept returning to the taste of her in my mouth. I pushed the breakfast away. I got up and went out to the lobby. I signaled the concierge to send my bag out to the taxi stop. As I waited for it to be loaded into the cab, I looked back into the hotel, hoping that I’d catch a glimpse of her. She wasn’t there. Finally, I settled into the cab. As it pulled away, I gave one last, longing look at the hotel. Oh yes, I’d have to say that this was the most successful conference we’d ever done…and what a success it had been for me…finally!
