Emily... Stay by The Kid Laroi was what woke Emily up. She groaned tossing around looking for what had disturbed her peaceful yet dreamless sleep. She got hold of her phone and didn't check the name on the screen. She accepted the call and placed it close to her ear. The voice of a woman rang out, one that belonged to a woman at her workplace whose name she remembered was Anne. "Hey, Em. You're needed at the office right now. It's an emergency" That got her attention. She stood up and ran to the bathroom. Keeping the phone pressed between her ear and shoulder, she brushed her teeth. "What's the emergency about?" "Specimen C was calling Linda his mate" "Mate? What's that supposed to mean?" "I don't know but you're needed here quickly" "Okay" She said and hung up. She began to undress so as to shower all the while thinking of what that word meant to the werewolves. *********** She had gotten to the office earlier than she expected. She signed in and then went straight to the lab. Dressing up in her Lab coat, she began to pack safety equipment and some first aid items as well. Their cage was underground that much she knew and security there was tight so there was no chance any werewolves captured can escape. She nodded at the security who stood before the door. With a nod of his head, he let her in. She walked inside and the dimly lit room gave her a little chance to scan the room. There were a dozen cages, each having a letter from the alphabet. She scanned for C and then began to walk towards the cage when she had sighted it. There was a man there. He was sitting upright and glanced at her once she got close enough to the cage. His eyes were brown just like Cole's eyes in fact he looked so much like Cole that if she didn't know Cole's whereabouts, she won't hesitate to call him Cole. Covering her shock immediately with professionalism when she saw him smirk, she crouched and began to dig through her first aid. "So why did you call Linda mate?" "To get your attention" Damn even his voice was like Cole's. "My attention?" she asked her eyebrows knitted together. She became more attentive. What did he want to say? Is it good or bad? Her mind swirled with questions after questions and her heartbeat became faster than normal. She was scared and she wasn't embarrassed to say it. Heck she should get out of here but it seemed that she couldn't stand up not to talk of leaving. "I'm going to escape and you're coming with me" Those words struck fear in her heart. With shaking hands, she began to pack up with her head down. She stood immediately with her medical kit and his next words almost got her falling on her knees. "Whatever I want I get and you Emily Walter I want you so I'll get you no matter what"
