BEFORE YOU

CHAPTER TEN

At work that day after the proposal Ann was treated differently and her day was at most special. she received roses every after five hours and then lunch from with in the office. She received coffees a cup after a cup. In the evening all retired from work but Ann did not go because she had some work left to handle. Leo waited for her in his car secretly. When she was done, she found Leo in the car outside the campany. He offered to take her home and she agreed, and they drove off.

During the journey to Ann's home, Leo stoped by some food sellers and he bought fried chicken for Ann and gave it to her in the car, he watched her eat. After they drove off and reached Ann's home. Outside the car Leo told Ann that he didn't want to leave her even for a second so they kept outside for a moment. Leo started telling Ann of how she is different from other girls and of how he fallen in love with her at first sight. "Time is moving, tomorrow we have work to do, am leaving bye "Ann said and left him. Leo kept outside for a while and as he turned to leave Mr Maye and his wife also came back from work. They packed near Leo and asked him whether he had come to visit them and he replied him that he had brought their daughter home. Mr Maye invited him for dinner if he could. Leo accepted because he wanted to see Ann and go home, he already missed her so if he went for dinner, he would see her.

Ann reached her room and took a shower changed her clothes and did her hair. she did laundry and soon she was free to go downstairs.But first he had to see her little friend Jack who was in his room next to hers. So she went and found him asleep. She had brought him some chicken that Leo had bought for her. So she just went back with it to her room. After grabbing her phone she prepared to go downstairs and meet her mother.

Leo entered the mansion that was so big beyond comparable and he took a sit, before long he and Mr Maye were served with wine and began chatting."How is the company moving, son?" Mr Maye asked Leo and he assured him it was fine. Mr Maye went on to ask how he was doing with Ann, about their relationship probably, and also Leo assured him that it was fine.

Ann soon arrived in the living room where he found the Leo she thought had long gone home. Good enough they had not seen her so she quite climbed stairs to go back but she was cought red handed by Mrs Maye."What are you doing, Ann dear?" Mrs Maye asked her she pretended to have been checking the stairs if they were clean. Mr Maye called her to come and join their conversation which she obediently did they chatted but Ann just kept sitted there like a silent ghost that's looking for news. She only didn't want Leo mention their relationship at that moment.

"Dinner is ready. They went for dinner at the table Leo sat opposite Ann and kept stealing glances at her she was aware that Leo's gaze was fixed on her and Mrs Maye noticed it also Ann's mother realized it and saw how Ann was very shy. And that's was not herself her daughter had changed and now she is a new person. Her mother just gave a satisfied smile and went on with her work. Ann didn't even eat to get satisfied The elderly couple went to their room after dinner.

Ann escorted Leo back to his car. Outside Leo couldn't help himself he reached out for Ann's lips and kissed her deeply and after that Leo said now he could rest and he drove off home. Ann went back inside and she met her mother who told her that she was happy to see them get along. Ann chatted a few words with her mother and then went for her bed. In her bed Leo sent her a message that he wished to hear her voice before sleeping. He called her and just asked her if she had slept and she told him that she was in bed. He said good bye and let her rest.
