BEFORE YOU

CHAPTER NINE. I LIKE HIM.

"How did l end up all drank last night?" Ann told herself. But she didn't recall anything, she knew someone brought her back home. Ann woke up she had to go work and it was getting late. she went for a shower and the went downstairs she didn't get time to get a full breakfast. She just picked up a small bread from her plate and moved on to her car. she drove for work.

At work they had to go for gym work that day. Ann and her friends were skipping ropes when sir. Leo walked in half naked with his shirt wiping his sweat off. "What a fine body. All those muscles wow !" Ann was lost in imaginations but was snapped out by her friend who called out her name "Ann you are need." That's when she got to know she was called by Leo. As she was moving towards him she tripped and fell into Leo arms. Her hands went straight to Leo's chest. They continued to the ground and within just a blink of an eye, Ann was on top of Leo and their lips touched. They got a special moment and they were interrupted by Han who told them that the cameras was ready. lt seemed they were at the gym to market their perfume product that they had produced of recent and it was Ann and Leo to make the ad. They were to act like passes by in a gum where a woman meets a man with that scent and she was to completely be drawn to him and the scent of the perfume was to force a girl hug the man. So the cameras started action went on, Ann acted along and fell straight into Leo's hands.

That created a romantic moment and the video that was live immediately got viral and Ann earned herself fans who said she should run for what was rightfully hers and she should not stand there and watch other take the guy. Ann snapped herself from the fantasy and got back to business. They did the other activities that they had that day and retried from work. Before going back home Leo took a chance to ask Ann's phone number which she gave out without hesitation.

At home Ann arrived very happy slowly she had started falling in love with the guy because he was handsome after all. She did laundry and helped her mother prepare supper after that she went to play with the young man in the house that was Jack Maye. He did go to school they day because he was sick and he spent his entire day in his room playing games. Jack was very fond of Ann and when she was around, he was always happy. " Sister, why do you always leave yet l always want to stay with you all day ?" Jack asked pitifully and Ann told him that she always has to go work so that she could earn more money to buy him games.

At night Mrs and Mr Maye arrived from work and they had dinner together. They them went for bed. Ann reached her room and washed her hair and feet because she had already taken a shower then she went to bed. Before she slept she received a text from Leo who asked if she had already slept. Ann replied that she had not. Leo then called her. " Hello" Leo said and she replied him. They talked for a moment and suddenly Leo asked if Ann could accept him as her boyfriend. Ann told him if only he proposed to her face to face she would accept him.

That night Ann kept recalling the past moments they had together and she felt overwhelmed had she fallen in love because she felt completely drawn to him every moment and the incident that happened that day gave her an answer she really like the guy.

In the morning, Ann went to office as usual. she took the elevator to her office but she was surprised by her friends who were on the elevator door. They tried her eyes and she was asking what was going on but they told her to be more patient. When the reached in the office, Ann was much surprised by the scene there. It was Leo on his knee and a ring 💍. "Will you be my girlfriend, Ann? "Leo asked confidently, he also had roses in his hands. Ann accepted, Leo put on the ring and stood up gave her the roses and kissed her passionately.
