CHAPTER SIX HAVE I FALLEN FOR A LADY

" That cannot be, l cannot fall for that girl though she is pretty but l gotta to control my feelings. l wish she can be mine but anyways she might be one of those schemers out there." so much lingered in Leo's minds. It was clear he had fallen for Mrs Ann heiress of the Maye family, that's what most people think, Leo was so very mad in love with her. But today he was very surprised by his father the former chairman of the F group when he showed up at Leo's office something was unusual and most employees were greatly surprised by this action. " What do u think of Mr Maye's daughter the one you met up with probably last week. she is very gorgeous and l think she will make a good wife. l believe so." his father told him anxiously. Leo was at first shocked could it be the meeting was meant for a blind date and they didn't know??. But indeed Leo was happy for those news.

"Summon Ann in my study room, l need to talk to her. Immediately. Ok?" Mr Maye ordered one servant who went very quickly to Ann's room and called her. She came quickly and found Mr Maye in the study room staring outside though a window." You know, Ann my dear, l have loved you since young as my own child and l have always meant the best to you dear." Mr Maye began his story.

" And l have always planned a good future to you my dear. That guy that you met last week , l do propose that you two keep a bright future together. What do l mean? l am proposing marriage to you my dear Ann on behalf of the Leo's family." The old dude ended his lecture and it was time Ann also gave up her piece of mind.

" Daddy, would you please give me some time and l think about this that you have told me?" Ann asked politely."Alright my dear. But don't worry l have already discussed this with your mother ." He said .

Ann left the study room very frustrated and she was in a deep of thoughts that she even didn't see her mother when she by passed her. She quickly went to her room and locked her door. " Of all people, why him? That bustard he used me l can't allow to marry me. Did he plan all this?" Ann said though her sobs she started throwing things around and soon her room was a total mess. she didn't go downstairs for supper so her mom prepared a meal and brought it to her room. Upon reaching, she found a complete mess and her daughter was lying on the floor. She gently placed the things back and gently touch her daughter. " l know it's hard for you baby but you better you accepted your fate. l don't want to see you end up like me. l want you to live a better life." Her mother told her softly.

" So you also support this nonsense, mother, l cannot marry him he a jerk mom." Ann told her mother but her mother gently stood up and walked towards the doors, when she reached the door she said " Hope you come to understand this as a good path for you dear." She went back down stairs.

Leo, however is very super excited to meet his soon finance. lt happened to be the day that Ann promised to have a meal with him, so Leo was eagerly waiting upon her arrival. Not before long she arrived. Here she was though she didn't want to come but her mother and Mrs Maye couldn't let her be

" Have a seat dear." Leo said pulling out a chair for her she refused the offer and only told him that she came to give him a warning that she had no desire in him at all and that she would not collaborate with the so called matchmaking. she had zero interests in him. After, she left. Leo was however happy to find a fine lady that could deny his charms and money. "This is her" Leo told his assistant Han. Leo was starting to fall for a lady which he believed couldn't happen but now here she was. " I think l have fallen for a lady, Han, l have got a wife to marry" he planned so much before he was even accepted.
