“I missed you,” mahinang bulong ni Chaos bago tuluyang ikulong sa kaniyang mga bisig si Chase. Chase froze. Parang biglang huminto lahat, not because she didn’t expect it, but because she did not expect him to say it that easily, that close, that real. His arms were firm around her, steady and warm, as if he had no intention of letting her slip away kahit pa ilang segundo lang. Pero mabilis ding bumalik si Chase sa sarili niya. “Stop messing around, Chaos,” inis na sambit niya, her voice is sharp as she tries to pull away from his hold.
