Chapter 14

Phoebe pov

“No, no-no. Please put me down, Fil. I mean it.”

“You will pay for all the teasing,” Filippos says, threatening, but I sense a smile on his face. It’s July and to celebrate our one year together we decided to go to the place where we met. Filippos stopped at the university a few days ago, and I took off. We are already three days here, and we will stay for the whole month.

As for why Filippos is holding and threatening me that he will fall in the water is because I teased him a couple of minutes ago. We are on the beach that we went to on the first day of my tour a year ago. Is just us and a few other couples.

“Fill, please no. I'm sorry,” I say, and he is already with his feet in the water

“Too late, baby,” he says, still walking, and I feel my feet in the water

“No, no no” is the last thing I say, and I'm underwater. When I was out, I didn't talk, and I started going out of the water.

“Baby? Are you mad? It was a joke,” he says innocently, and I see him when I wipe my hair. He has a cute look on his face. When I play that, I'm a little mad that he has the same I'm sorry to look on his face. I'm not angry, but it is fun to play with him.

“I told you I wanted to stay out of the water for a while to sunbathe. And you know I hate to throw me like that,” I say and continue to wipe my body

“I just wanted to make a joke. You started it,” he says, and he walks closer to me. Still with this heartbreaking look on his face.

I turn my back to him, and he hugs me from behind

“This is not going to save you, buddy,” I say, and he starts kissing my shoulder

“I can try,” he says, and he kisses my neck and then closer to my ear. f**k he always knows how to make me weak

“I'm on a good road?” he whispered in my ear, and I moan

“I guess I am,” he says, not stopping to kiss from my shoulder to my neck and ear

“You have to stop doing that. You can't get away with everything you do just like that,” I say, and I manage to leave his embrace. He laughs, and he cups my face

“I love you; you know that?”

“I think..! You telling me all day every day.”

“I do? Do I?” he asks, and I nod

“I love you too,” I say, and he kisses me.

“I have to be more strong around you. You always manage to make me stop being mad at you,” I say, and I lay on the towel

“It's good to know that,” he says, and he laughs

“Is not funny. Even when you are wrong, I can't stay mad at you.”

“You want to be mad at me?” he says making a sad face

“You know what I mean,” I say, and he chuckles. We stayed for a few hours on the beach, then went for lunch and back to the hotel.

“I was thinking the last week before we leave to stay in Athens. My mom’s sister lives there” he says as he wipes his hair, he just walks out of the shower and I barely hear what he is saying. The towel is ready to fall and I am sure that I'm drooling.

“Babe you listen?” had asked and l looked at his face

“Um yeah you were talking about your aunt,” I say and he smiles, he catches me

“She is dying to meet you so I believe is a good opportunity to see her now”

“Of course love, I don't mind. Is your only aunt I want to meet her too”

“Great. I will call her tomorrow” he says and he takes off his towel. I still can't believe how happy I am. My dream guy is real and he is with me. Only with me

“I like it” I hear him saying

“What?” he walks to me and I leave my book on the bed

“That you still look at me like that. And me when you are naked I still look at you like that” he sits on the bed, only with his boxers now. I lean to him

“How am I looking at you?”

“Like I'm the sexiest man on Earth”

“But you are,” I say and I kiss him

“Thanks, so are you. My sexy little fox” he says and I giggle

“I will never get tired of hearing how sexy you think I am. Is refreshing”

“You have everything I want. You are perfect”

“I have disadvantages,” I say and he caresses my cheek

“I love them too. For me you are perfect” he says and he kisses me. Slowly he pushes me back until I'm flat on the bed and he is on top of me. We hear his phone and he checks the text

“Marios. They wait for us at eight”

“We have an hour. Just kiss me a little more and then we can start to get dressed” I say and he laughs

“You read my mind,” he says and he kisses me again.

After a long time, we managed to separate and we dressed for the anniversary party of Marios and Elpida's.

I wear a maxi boho dress and flat sandals. I love this style and it fits so well with the Greek islands. Fillipos is holding my hand and we walk to the pool area.

“It was about time. Are you ok Phoebe?” Marios teasing and I laugh

“I'm good don't worry”

“Why don't look your wife and leave mine alone,” Fillipos says angrily and the three of us start laughing together,

“Your wife?” Mario says and I realize that Fillipos said

“Someday,” he says and he looks at me. Before I say something I hear Elpida

“Guys finally. We have to say something and we waited for all to come”

“We are here now. What is it?”

“Come on Marios,” Elpida says and walks to the bar where everyone can see them.

“Deat friends thank you very much for your wishes and gifts. But allow me to say that my wife will give you the best present ever” Marios says and he looks at Elpida with a smile

“She will make me a dad. She is pregnant” he says exciting everyone we clap one by one until the night is over with says our congratulations

“Do you want to go for a walk?” Filippos asks me as he hugs me from behind. I agreed and we walked to the beach where we kissed for the first time.
