Chapter 41- Press conference

Creating a room full of pitter-patter noises, the rain hit the window. The dull light shone through the peaks of the blinds which made the dark room a little brighter. The smell of takeout Chinese food lingered in the office room. I woke up to my phone ringing from the alarm that I set up the night before to prepare myself early for today's press conference. After I move my head off Damon's lap, Damon groggily groans and moves his head to the armrest to lay his head there and lie down completely. I walk over to my phone that was charging on the floor to turn off the grating alarm that was energetically ringing.  I return back to Damon to check how he's doing. He was kind to me by allowing me to lie on his lap to nap for three hours, but now I was pretty sure his neck was cramping up. I g
