The Foolish Emperor

I was the Emperor of the Gren Empire—vast, wealthy, and feared across the continent. To the world, I was power itself. Yet in truth, I was nothing more than a foolish man. My folly began with love. Not the noble kind sung in poems, but the kind that blinds and poisons. I gave my heart to a woman who was already pregnant with another man’s child.
